  1. Hope he does well, age now where he should be number 1 somewhere.
  2. Thats the one obvious sub in for Palace v Everton. At least with Spurs v Burnley it should be somewhat entertaining
  3. Aside from the Palace and Spurs games all the others tick the boxes for me in what I want in a cup tie. Either 2 of the best teams in the country or a smaller team at home to a team from a higher level.
  4. rated by Rodgers" A death knell to any promising career.
  5. Must be making room for another 22 year old released by Villa
  6. Really hope he gets himself a good gig in America or Saudi Arabia so everyone can just look back and appreciate what he's done. Him and Albrighton should lift the trophy this summer Let's get Morgan, Izzett, O'Neil, Elliott and Walsh to come and lift it as well, they will have contributed about the same to this season.
  7. I hope it involves Rudkin with him coming out as the loser.
  8. Speak for yourself! I can steer almost any conversation into how much a nob'ed Rodgers is.
  9. I was actually thinking this myself. Probably our most comfortable number 8 on the ball. He wouldn't have the same awareness and defensive ability as Winks but considering most teams daren't try and attack us, it probably wouldn't be a big deal.
  10. They paid £50 million to a company called "Definitely legit building company". That company then paid some Everton players consultancy fees as it turns out they happened to sign a bunch of world class architects
  11. I think that on balance Enzo's thinking is probably fair. Given Fatawu would be there as maybe 4 or 5th choice winger had he opted to go then it doesn't make sense for him to go. Staying here to prove himself and earn a contract with (what we all hope will be) a Premier League team next season shows that he's either got good people around him or just basic common sense. Just not comfortable with the angle being he chose us over playing for his country as that's not the right attitude and would rightly put some players off. He chose to stay and play first team football rather than be a travel companion with the rest of the international squad, that's admirable.
  12. What can I say, im a dreamer!
  13. I find it weird to say that. Its only like 5 games. Is Enzo saying that Fatawu picks up an injury that puts him out for 4 games that were not gonna sign him despite his obvious talent. Again, when he says "at the end we are going to decide" i can't tell if he means January or not
  14. Christ, maybe not then!
  15. Comparing him to Barnes is pretty mad considering Barnes made this league his bitch with struggling Barnlsey at 19 (5 goals 4 assists in 1400 minutes) and then with Brom at 20 (9 goals and 7 assists in 2200 minutes) Stephy has 9 and 4 in 2100 for the most dominant team this level has likely ever seen. Just enjoy what he's doing without getting too carried away would be my advice
  16. Haha - I've gone with Kevin Phillips Aside from it being very clear from highlights of his Preston goals and his few minutes with us, that he can absolutely thunderc*nt the ball. I'm not how anyone can read much more into the lad's abilities.
  17. It makes much more sense that it means we'd theoretically be able to sign Fatawu in this window rather than waiting to summer. I wasn't a fan of Enzo suggesting a player should forego an international career if they want to play with us. It makes more sense if he's saying that we have an opportunity to sign him this window and free up a space, so it's good of Fatawu to make that easier.
  18. As long as he doesn't mean this season's Vardy
  19. I can't believe I'm reading people make a judgement on a player after barely seeing them play. It's absolutely mental to even think that you should be forming an opinion on the lad's potential already. Whether you think he's the next Pele or the next Mark De Vries, it's utterly insane.
  20. I was expecting him to sound like a right knob from what I'd read on here. Just sounded like an honest down to earth interview to me, not sure where anyone can find fault in that. Was expecting it to be an absolute cringe fest but it's one of the better pressers I've listened to.
  21. Another good one is players who are faking a head injury limping away after they've had "treatment"
  22. That's a fair one, I'd probably be happy to swap in Ricky P. One of the two have to play otherwise the ball won't go forwards
  23. Stolarczyk Choudary Coady Faes Doyle Winks Yunus Casadei KDH Wanya Cannon
  24. I'm sure if you ask nicely, Stacey will let you carry the water bottles
