  1. Missing part was Tielemans, but he got shit-canned a few weeks after we signed Youri if I remember rightly. The Ndidi Mendy double pivot was harrowing Still, regardless of that. We were the absolute pits when he took over. The football we were playing was incredibly bad and there was a close knit group that needed to be evolved and that meant upsetting some. The Macia Puel duo definitely laid the foundations for success. If a manager leaves the club in a better place than when they came in, then that's a success to me. I am fairly confident if Rodgers joins in summer of 2017, we don't see the success we had later on.
  2. Puel took over an aging team that could barely string 2 passes together, rebuilt and put together the bones of a squad that was capable of challenging the top 6. His football was dull, but there's no way he didn't have an overall net positive impact on the club. Vichai made some poor calls and mistakes, while they're not ideal I think they are to be expected. Dealing with them and rectifying them is important. He also got people around him that knew that they were doing and were good at their jobs. That's something he seemed to do fairly well. Top will go down as one of the worst and destructive chairman/owners in modern history though. They're so far apart on the spectrum I don't think there can be a comparison haha.
  3. Him making it very clear he was calling Top an idiot, none once but twice. That hit like crack
  4. Well god damn, I have the $20 sub, I'll take a look into that cheers mate. Yeah I understand where you're coming from for sure, it'll be interesting to see how the working world evolves over the next 10 years. The main thing in my mind is that if people aren't working, then the pool of people that will spend money on your product will dry up. I would assume there always has to be that balance or we have no economy and everyone has their own little farm and living off the land and spending evenings by candle light.
  5. I have not, would you recommend them? I'm still using my ChatGPT subscription haha. To be fair it helped me build a ticketing site in PHP and android app to scan tickets. In about 3/4 weeks. Which considering I haven't done app or PHP dev since I was at uni 15 years ago was pretty cool. I very rarely get to do much dev from scratch these days unless it's my own projects, which feels like a bit of a bus man's holiday atm. I'm usually trying to figure out insane client requirements on an already very complex system haha. I just can't imagine your average joe who wants a site/app being able to put together a spec that will get them the result they're looking for. Even if the AI can do a good portion of the graft, I feel like you'll always need someone who has an idea of development to "steer" for lack of a better word.
  6. You work in IT right? Not sure if you've worked in SAAS. But I'm pretty sure that even an AI would want to just power itself down when having to deal with clients that aren't clear in their demands and want to make changes to the scope of a project every other day. Then supporting bugs that were introduced or having to make changes to a product environment that contains data, but not the right kind of data because the client wasn't clear on their demands or just changed their mind. I find it hard to believe there'd ever be an AI that can handle the general public. It's a fantastic tool and the fact I can type in a specific issue or knowledge gap in and get helpful advice rather than having 30 stack overflow tabs open is great. I struggle to see it being more than a tool that someone uses. For proper software development anyway.
  7. Haha I noticed that, went on a little wander for some reason
  8. At some point, there will be a manager that realises if you're 2 or 3-0 up at half time, you're probably playing decent and you should maintain what you're doing. Obviously make adjustments if the opposition make adjustments and they need to be countered. Our tactic consistently seems to just be, camp on the edge of our box and hope that 45 mins of defence v attack doesn't translate into enough goals for the opposition.
  9. Another fine 2nd half when leading I see
  10. Good to see Mukasa is a bagsman. Just waiting for the 46th minute now
  11. Feels like Southampton usually gift us a win when things are looking bleak. For that reason I'm leaning towards a win. But like every game this year, no result would surprise me.
  12. Broken Jaw in a friendly and it wasn't the headline. Must have been an insane one to be at
  13. You've just reeled off a bunch off stuff that happened to happen while he was in those squads. Same mindset as Top giving Rudkin props for the league win.
  14. Very harsh red. Similar to Romero earlier. Absolutely no malice and purely unfortunate Once again, class referee ring where the outcome is judge rather than the intent Yet Sangare against Leeds literally tried to smash a guy's kneecap off and just missed. Only a yellow. Refs are clowns.
  15. Cant help but likee Winks. Not his fault were paying him stupid wages. But he clearly acknowledges what a clown show the club is In some ways I prefer that to the people pretending everything is sound and keeping their head down. Again, hes clearly overpaid l, but who isn't.
  16. Just seen the highlights. Some finish by Abdul. Not sure how that was a red for Bobby, harsh. Battered either way though. Just another case of Abduk trying to bail out an embarassing performance
  17. Better than i expected to be fair. Solid 1 1 v Southampton, they're full of trash bags as well. Must be running out of players though.
  18. Giving Soumare £80k a week when he was on around £12k a week when he's not proven at all in the league was absolutely awful management. Signing young players from abroad is always a risk, and I don't mind it. Giving them 80 bags a week before they've proven themselves is absolutely awful management though. Had we put them on a reasonable starting salary that grew as they hit targets, then once we found out they were not fit for purpose then they are much easier to shift. As it was, I imagine prospective clubs laughed at us when their representatives told them what they were being paid.
  19. All I can gather is that as a club we're the equivalent of those knobhead "auditors" on social media.
  20. Half a chance we'll be in the relegation zone from 5pm Saturday then haha
  21. That would explain why he's not got any academy/dev appearance data for last season. Nothing I'm reading suggests this guy is going to do anything at Championship level, i'm so intrigued to see what we've seen/heard about that lad that's made us pin our hopes on him haha. I do like the excitement of a complete unknown, but I'm mentally prepared to be disappointed and underwhelmed
  22. Was just about to say, have they hired that Gervais lookalike
  23. "We tried to build a fresh culture and set new standards" I wouldn't admit that was what you attempted to do Marti.
  24. Any stats on this lad, transfermarkt doesn't seem to have much and apparently nothing for last year? Mainly 45 min stints for their 23s this year, 2 goals and 0 assists.
  25. I read that even u21s have to be registered if they're on loan so I wasn't sure if we were pushing it close Just realised Nelson and Silko are classed as u21s so yeah should be fine.
