"However, his final appearance came in a 5-4 defeat to Strasbourg, a game in which they were 4-1 up but shipped four goals in half an hour and a performance that earned the Belgian a 3/10 from L’Equipe from a game in which he was ‘outmatched’ by Julio Enciso." Never change Wout. Take what we can for him.

Hope he does well. His football was incredibly tedious to watch, but he'll be working with players that have the quality to play the way he wants. As much as people blame Pep, it's not his fault there's a bunch of mini tactic board loving wrongun's trying to get extremely limited players to recreate football meant for elite players.

If he hadn't spent half the season on his arse begging for penalties and free kicks he'd have probably had more opportunity to stake a claim.

Well we've seen this exact scenario several times, so I know which one i'm plumping for

Contract document templates probably have June 30th on as a standard and Rudkin probably can't be trusted with edit permissions on documents.

I think that may have been one of the most one sided fight's I've seen, certainly headlining a card. Steve Gray looking over to Allen's corner and looking like "are you gonna stop this?" Thankfully the towel came in not long after I think not having MC Devvo walking out with him is what did it for him

All ive learned from this game is James Berry is gash. Definitely thinks he's a lot better than he actually is.

We just got rid of 2 100+ point scorers and now shifted into Gornal's league who smashed 100 points and 115 goals last season. Plus side is that in this league Carl Adam's should be able to source players that can get us up from this league with more trips to the west midlands. Looks like it would have been a coinflip between Rushall and Quorn for that last northern spot. Rushall being closer to more Southern Central teams probably edged the decision. 2026/2027 - Projections - Step 3 – Google My Maps

Was the VAR check for handball? I've only just seen it Unless the guys hand is made of flubber it's clearly come of his head. I assumed it was for the "elbow" which also wasn't a thing. All that should happen there is the Celtic player booked for cheating.

Mad that Nick DiMarco will go down as one of the most influential championship players in the 20s

Yeah, essentially we just need to hold on to him till 10th July and we're in a much stronger position. Until then though, Monga is still free to leave the club and join another club. We would either need to agree compensation or it goes to tribunal. But that process won't slow things down. If Man U are happy to go to tribunal and Monga wants to go there, then they just need to submit the paperwork of their intent to register him as a Man U academy player and have that processed. Which I assume wouldn't take long.

I don't think anyone knows where they're striking the ball until they begin their run up. You might have data from previous games that shows a player prefers a certain way, but even then I don't put much merit in it. Did you mean Middlesbrough or Southampton changed their game plan? If you mean Southampton decided to take the risk of being battered all game and hope for a 0-0 then it's hoping for dumb luck, but hardly revolutionary stuff. I could tell them for free from just watching the odd game and highlights, Ayling loves to bomb on at times, leave Scienza up the pitch and look to play him in when the opportunity arises. I just don't get it at all haha. Maybe it's just me being emotional and illogical because I'm tired of managers treating games like chess and being more worried about nullifying the opposition and reducing risk than actually trying to effect games positively.

As far as I can tell, he can still technically sign for another club before he turns 17. I imagine we'd be lucky to get 1-2 million in that case. For our sake, hopefully he at least reaches 17 and is registered as a pro with us before any move.
-
If it was that much of a benefit I don't understand why they got battered in the game. I think it's being massively overestimated to be fair. Most of the information will be available from looking at them in actual match situations. Most head coaches are obsessed with one way of playing, they're not going to make drastic changes pre match in a big game.

I don't really understand why anyone cares about other clubs watching their training sessions. I may be naive here, but I just don't see how much you can information you can glean from training sessions that you can't get from just analysing their matches. The only thing I can think of is that you may get an idea of any key players that pick up injuries, but that usually gets leaked anyway. It seems weird to send a "spy" and seems weird to be bothered about it.

They're well ahead of schedule this year and I wouldn't be shocked to see a perceived slight regression next season because of that, especially with them juggling Europe. Assuming Bloom's influence helps achieve a similar trajectory that Brighton and USG have seen then it really wouldn't surprise me to see them pull away and be seen as the dominant team in Scotland within 5 seasons. I do wonder if it'll actually kick Rangers and Celtic into gear a bit having the extra competition.

On a similar note, it really annoys me that Neville, Alan Smith and sky in general really focus in on contentious situations where a "big 6" have come off worse. Whereas is the role is reversed, it feels like they'll just blow over the incident and ignore it if they can get away with it. -

It is a foul, but how about Rice with his arms around the west ham players waist? Haha -

Eddie Howe's Newcastle team playing away from home is one of the dullest things in football -
What a card that was last night, some quality fights.
