  1. They're 7 goals behind Chelsea and Man City, if they're half switched on they'll see this as a real chance to cut that defecit down
  2. Probably means absolutely nothing, but I just noticed that Evans and Monga appear on the odds for tonight's game
  3. I am glad that more and more people are showing disdain for the absolutely soul sucking diabolical obsession with safety first possession football. It's really making the game a chore, I've found myself watching less Premier league games than ever the past season or two. Can't be arsed tunining in to see teams take in turns playing turgid slow football to the half way line, losing the ball and then having 11 robots get behind the ball. Toss in VAR killing any remaining momentum left in games. It's gross. It's a shame that the players for the most part aren't allowed to display their full quality, unless it falls within the coaches desired framework of play. Bring back the mavericks and 50/50 challenges.
  4. Dan Burn could be piggy backing half the Newcastle squad and he'd still out pace Vardy. His finishing is on par with Akinbiyi's right now. Time to cut the crust off this shit sandwhich and stop hanging onto old memories. Vardy should be first out the door, you're welcome back anytime but you're in the stands and away from the squad.
  5. It's a step up, just about. Top is just negligent and terrible at his job, but staff at least get paid to be bad at their jobs. Still, exactly the same thought crossed my mind
  6. Hopefully a return to winning ways for you next season, but sometimes the slide can continue if the management behind the scenes isn't great, which seems to be the case. Off to Coalville today, hopefully see another win and decent crowd with the sun out and Leicester not playing (although that probably doesn't matter as much atm ) Highlight of the day will likely be suckling down Carling Premier in Shooterz. Great day for some association football and a few beers.
  7. Did you mention in the subject that you were a season ticket holder of over 20 years? I think that's the priority filter they have, but you have to mention it in the subject
  8. What a finish this is (1) Video | Facebook
  9. Fil Dor is the pick of the race
  10. Anchoring can't come in soon enough to stop the winging. I don't get why the media and fans are obsessed with clubs running up massive losses. Crying that it's a travesty that owners aren't allowed to saddle clubs with 100s of millions of debt. Were in the richest league in the world. Average wage is more than any other league. Exercise a modicum of intelligence and sign literally any of the 98% of footballers in the world that are available to every premier league club.
  11. The fact that this thread exists is a testament to how good Sutton is at his job
  12. Yeah i get what you mean mate. He was awful, but RVN is redefining the meaning of the word
  13. Can never agree with that when we remember that the guy that wanted to play defensive counter attacking football, bolstered his front line with Jordan Ayew, BDCR and Eduoard
  14. Please just go and play for someone else. It's painful watching you play for us and it's even more painful watching people make excuses and idolise a guy that's contributing to one of the worst premier league seasons ever. MLS or A League should be the next stop. Thanks for the good times Vardy but it's time to let go of the past.
  15. Football is the passion, so it still dominates my free time. I'm completely emotionally blunted about the club atm though, so thank you to Leicester for dropping standards so low that I now have absolutely no expectations of the club.
  16. Called Southampton at home a good while back. Still think it will be then
  17. Going out on a limb and predicting 3 points for the geordies.
  18. When we're inevitably 2 or 3-0 down. Can't really see the harm in bringing on a young maverick for 15-20 minutes. Doesn't even have to be Monga, there's plenty of lads doing bits on the dev team that are worth bedding in now ready for the championship.
  19. Probably the fact that him and Facundo have been the only chinks of light in what is a very geriatric and underwhelming attack .Got to fancy he'd look even better if he had team mates that could actually move. Would expect him to have a very dominant year in the 2nd tier and then hopefully step up again the following year. In terms of output looking at numbers I think it's fair to underwhelmed for sure, but there's clearly a player in him. He's got that rare quality of having technical ability and a desire to put himself about as well.
  20. All logic says that selling Bilal this summer makes no sense. So I fully expect him to be first out the door before pre season even starts
  21. I think he'd struggle to make any meaningful impact even in the Saudi league We can dream though
  22. Se we spent £125m in the Championship season. Imagine if we hadn't gone up!
  23. A sensible manager/DOF obviously wouldn't sign him. However, the alure of signing an ex premier league keeper who came through their academy. He's a promotion winning keeper for Huddersfield who saved 3 pens in the final. This is the kind of stuff that they'll absolutely eat up, perfect for the documentary :p
  24. I've got a feeling he's gonna end up back at Wrexham next season
