  1. Christ, it only feels like a few seasons ago he was breaking into the first team there That's made me feel older.
  2. Looking at the positive of that, at least someone would benefit out of tanking the club. Atm we're all losers, apart from maybe Rudkin who is being handsomely rewarded for his part in it all.
  3. I dno, he's come from a group that absolutely adore the way Martin wants to play. I'd suspect he would be on board with Martin. I imagine they both gave esch other a 2 hour presentation. Had a huel and high performance podcast break in between, then finished off with a game of Padel.
  4. Good to see, KDH is a great example to the younger lads on the benefits of taking it seriously and putting in the graft. Fair play to Evans who seems to acknowledge he took his foot off the gas at the wrong point last summer thinking he'd already made it. Ideally he would have had an experienced arm round his shoulder to guide him, of course that could have happened and fell on deaf ears. Either way, good to see he's treating this summer differently.
  5. Nothing that an imaginative mind and a few well chosen AI prompts can't help out with
  6. Yeah fair. Although I would say, if you zoom out a bit, both are still related to having no plan and running on vibes haha
  7. Yeah, an announcement that he was leaving at the end of his deal would have been made the week after the final game if he wasn't up for consideration. The fact they haven't decided that nearly a month later is par for the course though. It's almost a carbon copy of RVN last summer.
  8. Is the potential £10-15m fee, pre Rudkin involvement? I assume once they've spent 30 mins in a room with Rudders, it'll be approximately 750k-1m and £10m if he makes an international appearance for Belarus.
  9. Didn't think it'd be long before he picked up a title with how he started this year. He's got his first floor and stage tournament in 2 weeks, not a bad fortnight for him at all. Was good to see Heta have a good run this weekend as well, the comeback against Sedlacek in round 1 was impressive. Also great see Jimmy Van Schie have a very impressive debut on the Euro Tour. Dan Dawson was the highlight of the week though, he was on fine form
  10. I assume it won't happen, but Martin would be so detrimental for the club in the medium term. He absolutely loves weak water carrier types of players. We've finally got somewhat an opportunity to move from the type of player that has seen us relegated 3 times in 4 years. If he was to join and put together a less talented squad of water carriers it'd be so grim. Also his style of football is so cautious yet also carries ridiculous risk with almost no benefit. Aside from football coaches that circle jerk over this odd way of playing football I don't know how your average punter can stomach watching it. Spending 70-80 mins watching your defenders pass the ball to each other has to be the most dull way to kill an hour or two.
  11. Not to join on the pile on, but I also think you've misread that one to be fair. The last paragraph is following on from his points in the 3rd and feels to be pretty clearly talking about the culture of the players and staff at the club, comparing what it has been recently to what it was in the early-mid 2010's. And this is from someone who doesn't hold King in the god like status that a lot of lads my age do haha.
  12. Can just picture players begging the club to sign them because Kasper is our gaffer. Clever Fox is on a mad one May be satire, so if so. Fair play you got me. If not. That list of key points is bloody hilarious haha
  13. Why's that? A random French team is a tough one to hate without good reason
  14. Not sure why they did the league based first throw at all. Bull up for every game I say! I assume you're not a Littler fan because of his 18/19 year old personality and not the fact he's absolutely ace at darts?
  15. Great finals night that was. I really wish the PDC would get onto security more though. Whistles for Littler in first semi from the right.. Someone putting Clayton off on his match dart from the right. Then both Luke's looking over at the same group in the final. I don't know why these morons turn up to try and ruin the games. Atmosphere and noise are part of the spectacle, but making deliberate distracting noises as players are throwing isn't on and these people should be identified, removed and banned from PDC events. It's happening way too often atm.
  16. I think pretty much everyone likes him now. He stopped being a massive ***** a couple of years ago and now hes very likeable Clayton will need his A game tonight, Humphries has come right into form the past few weeks. Sure he won the player champ last week with an average of 105 over the whole day
  17. Had to reply as I wanted to laugh at this "If I was one of the dozens of people who bought a ticket to this" Didn't want you to think I was laughing at your general point which is very faier.
  18. English teams should really be reaching finals of Europa League and Conference League to be fair. Personally, I don't think the top 4 European countries in the co-effecients should have a spot in the conference league.
  19. Palaces wage budget will be around 3x that of Rayo Vallecano. The gap between England's mid table clubs and the rest of Europe's is insane.
  20. If you can take a club with a squad capable of pushing top 4 in the Prem into league one in 6 years. Taking a club that is financially ravaged and struggled in the Championship into League two or lower doesn't feel far fetched at all does it? A lot of clubs in similar positions have been able to recover after the people responsible have left. Unfortunately we're left with the same poor and delusional people responsible for the slide.
  21. I said it last year and I'll say it again, give me Barry Bannan!
  22. I may be reading between the lines, but when bovril said, 'It's not the same "all across Europe"' I reckon they were saying it's not all across Europe.
  23. Yep. Replacing Bilal with Aaron Ramsey was another master stroke by recruitment/Rudkin.
  24. Get him to Hearts to replace Shankland!
  25. Beat me to it If the club were bothered it would have been discussed much earlier in the year, it's such a clear distraction tactic. Seems like the majority of the 15/16 team are more bothered about their relationship with Top than the club as well, so I don't have too much sympathy. I don't blame them either, a lot of them did very well out of KP and clearly had a good relationship with Vichai and Top so it makes sense to me.
