The relegation has been great for Conor, plenty of PR opportunities and media exposure

Ahhh yes like Vestergaard. Let's not count our chickens until the dross has left the building without being given an insane extension -
Daka's main issue is that he looks like a toddler trying to play football with a balloon far too often. I was so hyped about his signing, his lack of ability to consistently show a basic level of footballing ability is insane though.

Can you be more specific about this? Maybe there's something I'm missing that you're aware of. What was this strategy and how did they negate it with rule changes? -
I just want to make it clear that I was joking, I don't want to be accused of spreading misinformation Although imagine it was true!

He owns the flats that we stick our new signings in

Comedy Highlights Of A Terrible Season

Really weird time to decide you need to sign that full back, so you're probably right. Not easily explained with regular logic though, this is special Leicester logic

Don't amortise deals, problem solved. It's only bad because we try and game the system like most and mistakes come back and bite you hard. PSR is fine. English clubs overspending on dross is the issue. The only thing I don't like is that some clubs have been allowed to get round the rules. Chelsea being the main culprits. Although I hope this comes back to bite them down the line. That being said, I did just have Google and apparently amortisation is the standard and expected. That's pretty crap if that's the case. Still, dropping wages for average players down to 30-40k a week would be a huge start

Fair play, didn't think they'd clock on what an absolutely abysmal idea it was but they got there in the end

We were literally spending more money on salaries than we were earning the year we went down? I don't even understand your point. Do you want Top to run up massive debts to keep amplifying Rudkins failings? You've always had felt this was unfair (i assume you think it's fairer to let owners run up debts against clubs before bailing on them) but it's the same for everyone. We didn't have to offer massive ridiculous money to players. We did so because we are ran terribly. The squad that finished top 5 was essentially the brilliance the Walsh and Macia's recruitment. The moment Rodgers came in and Rudkin opted to sack Macia so Congerton could join was the start of the downfall. Rudkin and Top then allowed Rodgers to spend far more money than was sensible and we're now paying the price for those decisions made 4/5 years ago. Nothing to do with the same rules that every club has to follow being implemented. If you take a step back and look at what you keep saying. You want all clubs to be able to spend beyond their means and risk their future, it's odd to me. Not having PSR would just see the average wage of players like Vesty be around 120k pw instead of the mental 80k that it is now. -

Find it mad that the boards awful decision making was so bad 4-5 years ago that they're still struggling to deal with the effects of it Yet nothing has changed. Part of me wants this clown show to continue for another 5 years to see if they can manage to get us to the promised land of league two. -

Boooo bloody PSR, if it wasn't for PSR we'd comfortably be a top 6-8 team. Definitely not the absolute laugthable incorrect decisions being made over and over and over again that's at fault. -

The fact we're awful, absolutely not competitive in the slightest in almost any game. He turn proceeds to turn into Bonnie Blue at the full time whistle with the opposition while ignoring his own players and fans. The bloke doesn't give a damn about this club and has absolutely no pride in it. Him and Rudkin need to p*ss off at the exact same time. -

I hope you are, but no doubt Rudkin will be equally impressed by us going 4 months without a home goal. -

I'd like to see Ward start again. -
Lad's played a blinder to be fair, you don't put content out there that the masses will agree with as that's not going drive half as much coverage. The talksport recipe for success. Take a staunch position on either side of the debate and go in hard on the other side using words that will prompt an emotional reaction.

Good to see Forest winning, hopefully they can hold on.

Faes, it was a cracking pass. -
That's his highlight of the season. I'd love to him just ride off into the sunset on the back of that post.

To be fair, it beats having to read people make the same points that have been made 5000 times before

I don't remember them playing for Leicester as a bit before my time, but definitely remember seeing Ramsey play for Leicester in the old master football. Was Damien Delaney from Derry as well. Might have been Cork...might not have been either

You're literally saying Top would be better at his job if he was better at his job there though RVN would be a great manager if he did the things that great managers do as well.

Liverpool (H) - Pre-Match Thread (20th April)
filbertway replied to StanSP's topic in Leicester City Forum
I reckon we bag first out of nowhere, but still take an absolute dicking. Just one of those weird freak things like when Dickov put us 1-0 away to Arsenal at the end of their invincible season. -
He seems like he can't make his mind up. He's "devestated", yet in the next breath he's talking about playing Liverpool like he works a 9-5 and plays non league footie for 50 notes a week He just says what he thinks people want to hear.
