  1. "Leicester went on to pick up 6 points from their first 6 fixtures..."
  2. In effect, but if the club is sold, the training ground comes with the club as a package. Whereas the stadium, KP/Top could just kick us out after our lease agreement expires. Not that they ever would.
  3. 4:30 kick off on a Sunday. Grim.
  4. Guimares Tonali Joelinton Lewis Miley coming through and Longstaff a solid back up £40m for a youth product to help with PSR. Seems a fair shout. With the above considered.
  5. Just put some stickers on the walls to make it look like they have cracks. Drop in a bin bag of coackroaches, jobs a good'un
  6. Hahah that thought crossed my mind This hotel is worth £80m when the club is selling it, but when they buy it back it's only worth £1. Either way, I feel much more comfortable with us owning our assets rather than chasing some short term financial boost.
  7. Haha I'm the same, but then I'm also a bellend because I keep coming into this thread and reading the dirge
  8. I'd rather we don't sell our assets. Just manage the finances better would be my advice What happens once you've sold your assets?
  9. If I achieve nothing else today, I've learned a new word. If I had heard that instead of reading it I'd have assumed there was a business woman called Sue Pine
  10. KP Pt1. Built solid foundations, made mistakes but as a club we generally trended upwards. Tough decisions were made when needed. KP pt2 Used solid foundations which reflected in success on pitch, within a year they started making decisions that would cost us down the line. People were oblivious to it due to the success on pitch. Took a club that was in a healthy fininancial position that had a comfortable top 8 squad. Made so many terrible decisions that within 6/7 years we have been relegated twice and consistently been in trouble with leagues for not adhering to financial rules.
  11. Can't see it myself. I don't think he's worth to them what we would demand.
  12. We did indeed, allowing Rodgers to tank the club probably wasn't their wisest move.
  13. The forced amortisation really does punish mistakes. I don't really have any sympathy for our board because the rules are the same for everyone.
  14. Cheers, nearly spat my coffee out then That last part tickled me haha. I think partially because I could definitely see Top and Rudkin at a meeting, each with a nudey mag slipped inside their binders containing the numbers and forecasts
  15. Wymesy having the majority of the board believing he's ITK while not being able to string together a coherent sentence/talking in riddles, is definitely one of my foxestalk highlights of the summer. Gonna be disappointing when we finally do announce the next manager and the rumour mill stops for 6 months.
  16. KPFC worshippers working overtime this week
  17. Dyche is the manager our fanbase deserves to be fair. Dyche and Rudkin cosying up, celebratory drinks after our 6th successive 0-0 draw. Top laughing it up at his polo dates. Gonna be class!
  18. 1-0 up against Oxford in the 60th minute. Dyche removes a winger for a full back and striker for a CB. We then play a 6 4 0 for the remaining 30 minutes and have to withstand a barrage of pressure that never had to exist. The Dyche way.
  19. Anti. The guy is a top bloke, but as a manager of the club I support, I could not stand watching the absolute dirge he serves up.
  20. Any excuse to pull out a Mick McCarthy clip
  21. I wouldn't be so sure, one game this season our striker managed to miss an open goal from 1 yard and hit the post, the ball then came back into the box where he missed the ball completely while unmarked from about 4 yards out, we then got another cross in. Midfielder heading it top corner and the same striker somehow managed to block the header from going in This all happened within the space of about 20-30 seconds. Daka would feel right at home at Owen Street
  22. You mention Nelson there. He's 14 months older than Alves and 6 days younger than Braybrooke. I agree with you, they do need to be good enough, or at least have the capacity to improve. I think Nelson and Alves have shown at 20 and 19 that they're comfortable at this level. Both were getting decent reviews from Oxford and Cardiff fans. To be fair I think we're all on the same page. Me and people like Ric are dreamers and idealists when it comes to the academy, whereas you clearly take a more pragmatic view (which is probably the right way to look at things to be fair )
  23. Much like Barnes and Maddison are gash, both with relegations on their CV. We'll see next year I suppose, I think Alves has done enough at Cardiff to fancy he'll have a decent part to play next season. Braybrooke is an odd one. Went on loan to Dundee as they were planning to sell their midfielder. They decided to keep him and Sammy didn't get a look in. Will be interesting to see what happens with him next season, it's clear that the talent is there, but he needs to be showing it week in week out at senior level. Whether that's with us in the Champ or out on loan. The fact we've got so many young lads in an around international football is certainly a sign that we're improving the quality of players we're bringing through. One of the few things that we can actually be excited about, well if you allow yourself to anyway :p
  24. Fancy that hiring Dyche will set us back a couple of years at least. Squad make up will definitely veer more toward experienced yo-yo merchants rather than younger players with a higher ceiling.
  25. what? You're talking about them like they're 32 and playing for Quorn
