  1. Would love to see Sheff Utd take him off our hands. Unfortunately it'll be another season of watching him hide behind opposition players and passing backwards. Then everyone getting a massive lob on because he's made a recovery tackle after falling asleep.
  2. Vestergaard often looked awful when he had to do actual defending. The reason he looked "good" was because teams gave us far too much respect and literally let him have as much time as he wanted on the ball.
  3. Slatter_69
  4. You can still agree deals, they just won't go through until the window opens, which is very soon Summer transfer window dates confirmed - The English Football League Can definitely see Rudkin trying to sign someone in the week it's closed between 10-16th June
  5. I've heard the Danny train is gonna be Rohling in very soon!
  6. All of which, given the context of the managers he's played under and the team mates, can be easily explained.
  7. The worst part is that he has been a part of the club the entire time and seen the blueprint for consistent improvement laid out in front of him.
  8. I'd fancy Forest and Wolves to be closest to the relegation spots. I think West Ham improve under the summer under Potter. Everton appear to be bordering on being a competently ran football club again. Brighton and Brentford will continue to punch well above their weight.
  9. Very good listen. Found myself nodding along to most of it and found it to be very fair. My only qualm was that it made me feel a little bit sick when Rudkin was given any credit for the title win, when I think everyone is well aware that any groundwork laid there was purely down to the work of Pearson, Walsh and Shakespeare If the man was capable of masterminding a Premier league win then we would not be in this position right now.
  10. You're giving them far too much credit I think
  11. I don't really see the benefit. If you're going to waste a space, it makes more sense to me to just name 24 players rather than paying a sh*t keeper millions to pick up the cones after training. Saying that, I don't understand why anyone would look at Vestergaard and think he's worth paying 80k a week to. Football and logic don't really go hand in hand.
  12. He's also very much obsessed with the Martin way of playing. Playing that way at Carlisle and taking some right poundings. His MK Dons team were fun to watch as they couldn't defend but their attackers were good.
  13. There's a little more to it than just betting patterns. If a bunch of Charlton fans decide to have £10-20 on Charlton to win the league, they're not gonna magically surge up the odds tables. They are a component, but the bookies will still take into account a wide array of variables.
  14. thank you for bringing this to my attention, hilarious! Remind me to never visit that site every again. That is the worst thing I've ever read. He has some nerve, but also he's been unfairly left in the dark by management that won't speak to him BREAKING NEWS! THERE IS NO NEWS
  15. Birmingham have said they expect to have the biggest budget of any teams not receiving parachute payments. Fully expect them to be challenging at the top
  16. The highlighted part is what is wrong with English football. People bemoaning the fact that clubs with a turnover of over 120m a season can't make a loss, it's wild.
  17. I think just having the best players played a part in us winning games. Rather than an obsession with safety first 5 yard passes. A little left field i know
  18. The only positive I'm taking is that people were talking about Dyche like it was a done deal last week
  19. Can we get Les Reed and Clive Woodward in as well please?
  20. I think literally any pro manager in the game and a good portion of our fanbase could have us top 6 next season.
  21. Well, we are crying out for a soon to be 33 year old who's main strength in his career has been pace, power and pure chaos.
  22. To use that example, I'd say spending all the money in my piggy bank is fine, but I'm not allowed to borrow money from the creepy neighbour as he has a sketchy past
