... interesting post, I sadly think you may be correct that others are also finding it hard to balance the love of the game with the frankly obscene demands of some players and their agents. I personally don’t find top level football depressing, more frustrating that we have come to a point of a top six team league and then the rest in the Premier League .... but then we achieved the impossible dream in becoming Champions which for me made us winning the Premiership ever more special and memorable. Simply pumping so much money into a team that the end result becomes a forgone conclusion destroys the ‘sport’ but not the spectacle ... now the cost to the fan is another debate, I for one have been eased out of holding a ST (which I had managed to budget for for many years) and so I now often go to local non-League football to get my live game fix but it hasn’t diminished my love and passion for Leicester City and the game.

It’s not a case of wanting extra time .... but the play to the actual game time and not some magical, mystical ‘Fergie’ time ... win or lose, it still is just a game and the rules of the game should be observed!?

I currently earn my monthly ‘crust’ under a contract of employment and this also entails a minimum termination of employment on my side ... it’s certainly not slavery .... and Gods teeth I get paid nowhere near 100k a year let alone a week and have to work hard and consistently (including turning up for work on time ‘every day!) ... totally agree with Finn Claw II Mahrez ... get on with what you signed up to do and stop being such a hurt-spoilt-little-boy! whilst we all makes mistakes as we go through life sulking and throwing ones dummy out of the cot solves nothing!

... also, winning by a ten point margin and plus three goal difference over 2nd place is not chance or fluke ... we were Champions for a very good and clear reason ... simply the best ‘team’ over the season.

You are of course quite correct, it was posted a bit tongue in cheek ... but it would be so enjoyable to be threatening the spudders (which is clearly not going to happen this season!) and Arsenal are quite frankly very ordinary at present (I’m convinced most teams end up playing against their reputation rather than the cohesiveness of their team at present) ...

I’m starting to think 6th is doable .... would be lovely to be chasing them ‘lions’ instead of them coming after us! .... who knows, if they famously bottle again then as it stands tonight 5th it is!!!!

... as it’s already been said ‘it’s still unfinished business’ and after over fifty years of living the Leicester City ‘dream’ I need (... and yes, I really do mean need!) to see us lift the grand old lady ... whilst I never dreamt I’d see us crowned PL Champions it happened .... so for me and I I know a lot of other folks (young and old as it turns out) we would love to see the FA cup finally engraved with Leicester City FC on it .... please don’t disrespect ‘the Cup’, please get on there and win it!

Disappointing, but not that surprising ... ... I don’t go on the conspiracy theory but watching us today we never really looked that capable of scoring; played some ‘okay’ passing it around and some ‘almost but not quite’ controlling role in the game stuff but no real cutting edge. So for all our huffing and puffing on the pitch perhaps a draw was inevitable as whilst Fleetwood played okay neither team wrapped themselves in any glory!... but we shifted a few more Slim still looks like he’s only giving about 70% ... Turkish football .... come and get him please!?

I’m not so sure, Klopp has finally got them working and they look more hungry for some kind of result. But again, I do agree with you that ultimately it’s down to the players and what they want and now with their confidence and belief high; well who knows!?

... I agree with sylofox, a win tomorrow does start to apply pressure but there’s still so far to go .... for me, I reckon 7th and that’s a good position to build again for next season .... but I’m also totally happy to be proved wrong and a top 4 would be most welcome!
