  1. Wow, vision, ambition and the future …. Fantastic. When I read this thread and an opening saying this is not the Leicester City i grew up with my first thoughts were me neither, thank goodness for that! ….. walking past the buzzing power sub-station and the old Victorian terraces! Thank goodness we’ve lived beyond those decaying old relics of the past! …. Loved it all at the time, but times and thankfully the Club have all moved forward as well. From where we have come from at Filbert Street to today is simply awesome, the future looks simply staggering and beyond my wildest dreams as a kid who adored Filbert Street, the Club, the players and the fans of the Club. I can’t wait to see it materialise…. Fingers crossed …. Good times, positive times …. Simply awesome times ahead!
  2. Finally …. Brilliant to lay that ghost to rest … 😎👍
  3. Can’t believe I’m saying this but fair deal to the ‘French’ (!) and German clubs for simply refusing to be included. Bayern Munich is a massive and highly respected European club, so how could the ESL even be credible without them? .... oh sorry; yes, just toss the money loving ‘forget the game’ Arsenal owner into it and he’ll guarantee their inclusion ... or even worse ‘this’ll be our year .... oh bollocks!’ Tottenham into the mixer instead! .... the awful Americanisation of European football is seriously threatening the very fabric of it with the ESL merely breaking the clubs into franchised assets and sod the fans.
  4. Well! .... how frustrating, poor performance again and no sign of the hunger or desire to challenge for loose balls. We’ve become far too easy to play against.... disappointing.
  5. Somebody quoted as saying it almost feels like a new signing, but this lad is doing exactly what he needs to do and that’s fight for his place .... superb goal today helps his case ten fold .... just please 😂 get a haircut, only joking (love the individuality of the guy ... you just keep improving and your world class!)
  6. ... totally agree today, about time he was cut some slack and finally allowed to become the player that a lot of folks can see in him ... determined and worked for the goal ... just needs to feel the love ...
  7. So relieved that the risk BR took paid off, and it must give him a lot more confidence in what exists within the squad as a whole? But WH really are in the mire!
  8. Spot on .... I too fall into the I’ve paid my money give it to me ‘TIL the bitter end! ... but if some folk wish to leave early to suit their schedule/personal agenda then that’s fine, just don’t loiter and stand in front of those still watching until said bitter end!
  9. Deep condolences to his family, he will be remembered as one of the greats of English and World football. Thank you Gordon, I had the privilege of watching you when I was a youngster. Rest in Peace.
  10. In consideration of this Non-story and therefore hypothetical.... No!
  11. ... where we want to be (top 6 place. ... yes, I agree) but in fairness a top 10 place is all good as well .... but it’s the desire to win, that urge and excitement of moving to the top places that we just don’t seem to want to recapture again ... ‘I hope your right, another winger in the Jan window would help and whilst another striker is probably pushing Santa a bit to far we can all wish and hope! Still frustrated with this game though ... I expected so much more ....
  12. So push Gray into the fray ..... but please let’s do something with passion and desire, Puel needs to be brave right now and the players need to back him ...
  13. ... I’d rather see Okazaki and his balls out effort at this point ....
  14. ... everyone entitled to their own opinion, but for myself the team selection looks weak ... I don’t see what Iheanacho brings to the side and its all so frustratingly poor .... c’mon City .... pull your bloody socks up in the second half, bottom (as was!) playing 10th/9th ! C’mon!
  15. Forget the bloody players ..... big Nige ..... Pearson would pin them to the floor and throttle them in plain view of everyone .... total nutter .... top bloke .... with Robbie Savage behind him just to wind em up and rub salt into the wounds?
  16. Rafael Benítez after all the bloke has won the UEFA Europa League, UEFA Super Cup, UEFA Champions League and the FIFA Club World Cup. He galvanises average players into a team and is tactical enough to know when to shut the front door and when to throw caution to the wind ... besides ... who the hell else, in reality who is there out there that’s really that good?
  17. Wow indeed .... I think like many people I didn’t ever see Claudio being back in the Premiership, but I’m overjoyed that the Gentleman of Football is back in the ring .... very best of luck to Claudio and Fulham (one place behind us all the way!)
  18. Huge respect to Kasper, wears his heart on his sleeve with pride .... top-drawer bloke and a credit to himself and the Club.
  19. May they all rest in peace now, always remembered.
  20. Round of applause indeed .... very good
  21. Now the official statement is out and it’s simply heartbreaking! Thoughts and prayers go out to the families.
  22. It was instantly recognisable that he was badly hurt, just hope he gets through this okay as I always view him as a real ‘heart and soul’ player. Get well soon big Dan.
  23. .... just heard the dreadful news .... my thoughts and prayers go out to all those in the aircraft and on the ground affected by this awful occurrence.
  24. Complete and utter non-story ..... bring on the football, oh sorry but bloody Sky have nailed the UEFA Nations competition as well! ....
