Well I’ll totally admit to having to eat humble pie.... I was totally and underwhelming disappointed when we appointed him, but just goes to show that I know nothing of the man! What a transformation in the playing results, we once again look the threatening, point grabbing side so desired! totally due respect ....

Will we see Andy King leave in January ?
GloverFox replied to Stopper's topic in Leicester City Forum
I would be very sad to see him go, but totally understand if it’s week in week out playing he desires .... but he really fits the next Birch role for me .... a total ambassador for the Club -
Absolutely... really ... the genuine article! ?
-
Top drawer, massively under appreciated Andy King .... long live the King ... !

Sounds alien to soooooooo many on here, but I hope Schluppy plays a blinder (on the losing side of course, but still a blinder!) .... just ‘cos I love the bloke to bits for the memory of ‘that’ season ....

A very good three points against a side that can ( just can!) turn it on ..... so, really pleased for the three points .... once again; as it has already been said, Buzzing .... great win to hold us up there in the table ... -
Really chuffed ... 3 good points and more confidence for the players in the face of a cold late afternoon ‘ooop North’ .... good effort .... C’mon City .....
-
Newcastle is a top night out ... love the geordies to bits .... as for the game, we should be capable of grabbing three points away at last but don’t underestimate the effect of the support at Newcastle (we need to grab a lead and quiet the place down!) ... why is it always so blo@dy cold up there though!?
-
... more importantly though, it shuts the bloody Tottingham lot at work up tomorrow ... bliss, actually looking forward to going into work in the morning now!!!
-
... still need to improve the tiring last 20 minutes, but what a massive difference from the hammers game!

The Claude Puel Era - what will he bring?
GloverFox replied to StriderHiryu's topic in Leicester City Forum
January window will be the point that he can start to stamp his changes on the club, let’s hope he not too shy in coming forward because at present we look mediocre in the extreme. If his track record with Southampton is anything to go by then it’s going to be the steady build approach which is frustrating for some but sound for others. Let’s just hope he gets the support and chance from the club! -
In one respect I'm pleased Vardy didn't play, as others have expressed ... at least he hasn't had a burn out game before the weekend. But in the same breath Southgate is such a boring 'more-of-the-same' managerless figure. Okay, so the argument is that England won, what else do you want? .... What I want is a dynamic entertaining England and I'm afraid the current lot simply bore me to tears!

... I totally agree, whilst Kante is a joy to watch Ndidi does so much similar in the game but much subtler .... and that wicked whip of a shot! Oh my word, great pace and accuracy on the ball ... lovely to watch!
-
... finally the lad has got a break, showing great promise in what are tough and uncompromising games .... lacking glamour doesn't equate to lack of sheer effort and determination to be a winner... this lad has got what it takes to hit the top flight ... good effort and best of luck to him
-
.... didn't get to see the game .... work etc .... but from what's been said on here so far I feel really pleased for the guy; he had become almost the forgotten man ... but as many have pointed out throughout he's kept very professional and appears to have taken the rare opportunity very well ... good on him, let's hope we see a lot more of him in a winning side from now on ...
-
... have to admit the chuckling at .... it took you a whole minute to find that? ... it's just so literal, even if it was tongue in cheek! ... keep it up lads, I just love some of the random banter on here ...
-
Would like to Gyfli Sigurdsson come in as a replacement!
-
... totally agree with all that think Gray now deserves a shot at the crown ... the lads the real deal and needs a break, start him and give him the chance to shine even brighter !
-
... I work with an extraordinary number of Liverpool fans in the south of England ... and every single one of 'em has said to me well done to Leicester you really deserved it .... I must admit it has changed my view on the scouse army, gracious to a man with our victory!

... whilst I'm okay with the crisp bowl I still really remember City at Filbert street, the vast majority of my teenage years spent in the upper level of the double D whilst my younger years spent with my grandad in the main stand ... and just like the smell of 'old' Wembley (... Piss and hotdogs!) the smells and feel of Filbert street will always be City for me, yes; I miss the old ground, but Gods Teeth c'mon we're moving forward and upwards again ... (shit ... just remembering ... I even got to walk under the 'balloon' protecting the pitch, with my grandad ... Great times and memories of why I'll love LCFC forever) ... So who else can remember the power transformers down the back of the club buzzing like crazy as you walked passed them? ... I used to walk down there every day from hazel street school back to Stuart street ( purposely passed the club and around the ground just to be close to the 'City') .... Brilliant times really!
