Firstly I don't think we did enough to truly deserve anything more than a draw but that refereeing performance was disgusting and if it wasn't for him think we could have got a more fortunate results. Not alot else to say really, i'm not one to blame referees but I was disgusted at his officiating, he got in the way, gave soft decisions for them, refused to let the game flow. He may aswell have worn a Villa shirt. Also, Ndidi's a passenger.

These are my thoughts. I love Oasis, i'd say i'm a massive fan but gonna come across as a fair weather fan by saying i'm hoping for more than extra dates, i'm hoping for extra locations (Midlands - it's a pipedream - not happening) because of hotel situations at the current venues, prices and availability. Alternatively, as others have mused, combine it with a European trip/holiday if they hopefully announced European venues.

Not overly impressed but more positive than most. We've signed numerous players who have come in with alot of hype in the past and they've often flopped, or outright failed. I'm more comfortable with the business we've done whereby people are underwhelmed, our history tells us with underwhelming, written off, misfit type player/signings don't do too bad. Coincidence rather than a rule of thumb, i'm sure, that along with when a player comes in hyped up there is an air of expectation and excitement, whilst an underwhelming signing who many have written off can only surprise. Also, people have to realise where we are now in the food chain. The damage that was done 3 years and still continues to be done. The amount of snobbery and disbelief we're signing Palace, Fulham or Brighton players....all those quotes from 3 years ago, calling people "Entitled", "Be careful what you wish for", "We were in League One"...We're now seeing who are truly entitled, can't have it both ways.

Was skeptical when we were linked when he was at Celtic, my skepticism was justified. However, we're desperate. And i'm going against my own thought process that players who come in with under an underwhelming cloud usually do better than those who come under massive hype.

RIP. My favourite England manager and a wild time here as manager!

5-3.* Cracking game going of purely the scoreline but Enzo's not gonna be happy one bit. Doesn't seem much control going on. *Disallowed. 5-2. Point remains. 6-2. Crazy.

How about when we rolled over for Everton. 2 seasons in a row. Resulting in our own relegation. Sorry, just irks me when comments like that are made, perhaps look a little closer to home.
-
But they didn't. And we managed to salvage a draw out of one of them. Point being, would we be much better off? Personally, no, I think we'd be worse off.
-
I appreciate we have our own issues, but if Enzo's struggling with the players Chelsea have, imagine him working with what we have in the Premier League. People might claim Cooper's negative but we got a draw v Spurs and only lost 2-1 yesterday. Of course I'm talking hypothetically but I reckon we're currently better off than we would be if he was still here. Reckon we'd have lost both on the back of tonkings. Atleast we'd have had a plan though, ah?

Obviously the videos has been disabled due to copyrights but I’ve seen the goal. It was a throw in, on the halfway line and it ends up in their own penalty area… …If teams wanna load the gun, they want and choose to play this way, and make such fuck ups, then I’m here to laugh, I’m all for it. Crack on! Surprised to see that from a Dyche team though, wouldn't think he'd stand for such nonsense.

The question "Who we gonna get?" is truer than ever before. And after past experiences, "Be careful what you wish for" has never resonated so much. Also, if I had to "give him (Rodgers) time" for 2.5 years, you lot are gonna have to wait alot longer than 2 games.
-
They're certainly more than the 'mid table' team you were posing the question about though.
-
You do realise most other clubs probably have that opinion of us right? And they succeeded in part of relegating us in 22/23.
-
I mean we literally drew against Tottenham less than a week ago.
-
Kinda wish we were tippy tapping it round the back still, making even more mistakes, then we'd be getting hammered in result aswell as performance and people would really have something to moan about. But atleast we'd be playing football the way it should be played. Right?
-
People used to call me entitled under Rodgers. Now we're seeing who really are entitled. We reap what we sow, what was allowed - the damage was done 3 years ago, the effects are being seen now.

Everybody happy? After the hiccup to their proceedings on Monday they can now justify their doom and gloom?

I’m not excited by it, nor am I impressed or enthused. However, I mentioned in pre season when everyone was saying bad everything was that our best seasons have come off the back of awful pre seasons and our worst seasons have come off the back of great pre seasons. Likewise I’ve noticed a trend on here whereby players who sign and are hyped up usually turn out to be pretty average, terrible or outright failures and some of our best players are written off, not really cut it elsewhere, misfits. I also said earlier this week that people need their expectations tempering a little bit, they need to realise where we are in the food chain, the damage that was done 2-3 years ago has lead us to this point.

Puel, Rodgers, Maresca, all spoke quite often about lack of intensity. Last night was all about pace of game and intensity.
-
Have they upgraded the speakers? Sounded better quality and not so much need to just turn the volume up in hope than I seem to remember.
-
Been a long time since I’ve seen the whole kop as good as last night towards the end of the game! Fans respond to pace of a game, intensity, desire and getting stuck in. Who’d have thought.

Leicester 1- 1 Tottenham Post Match Thread
Matt replied to urban.spaceman's topic in Leicester City Forum
Well that’s 1 more point that some people were predicting we’d get all season. I’ve not seen that pace to a game and intensity from us for years! The endeavor, the fight! Getting stuck in. A sight to behold. Simple, fundamental basics! First half we were backs against the wall but we’re going to find that a lot this season, we rode the storm and you have to appreciate that. Second half I was really impressed! Buonanotte is a player we’ve been crying out for years, the energy he injects into our game! Hunting the opposition down. That felt like a proper Leicester performance, I don’t wanna get too excited and i'll say it quietly but we might have our Leicester back! -
Boehly's seen enough
