Jordan Ayew - NEVER PLAYING FOR LEICESTER AGAIN!!!
murphy replied to moore_94's topic in Leicester City Forum
At this point he needs to do a Danny Ward and ask the boss to be pulled from the team for his own good and for the sake of everyone else watching or playing alongside. -
That's a bit harsh. I'd say it's more a choice between piles or toothache
-
Before you do that, remember he bought in Ayew and played him there instead
-
Still intoxicated from yesterday's soumare news, when I saw this thread at the top, I thought another one had gone. Gutted .
-
Imagine being told, after we had just won 9-0 at St. Mary's, that we would go on to sign their centre-half, fullback, head of recruitment and manager. You'd think they were mad.

I have spent a year in Qatar. If he was homesick coming here, he's going to really struggle over there.

Nah. That's Paul Cooper -
Of course he is. Just enjoy being Wout-free in the meantime.

I’m not angry, I’m disappointed - but with whom?
murphy replied to Sly's topic in Leicester City Forum
Stolarcyk really. I had high hopes for him and still do but I think he has been dragged down by this ragged bunch. I know he is much better than this and I believe he will reach his potential but I think he has regressed furthest and it keeps getting harder to defend him. -
His other strength was man management. He was a leader that people would follow. He had integrity and he didn't suffer fools. I don't think we need to look backwards though and I want him to keep his legacy intact. We need to find a younger, 2025 Nigel Pearson.

I really wish people would stop saying what a lovely guy he is. Who knows? He could have been a proper cod piece or he could have helped little old ladies across the road and served in soup kitchens of a Sunday. Couldn't care less. What we do know is that he was a terrible football manager who has let us down, he's not lived up to his promises and had the brass neck to complain about supporters booing when we went behind at home to the mighty Oxford after 4 minutes as we lurched to yet another defeat. Sod off Marti. I have nothing good to say about you.

King for the remainder of the season would create a buffer for KP powers. They know that many would struggle to turn on him. It likely won't help us get results but it will protect Top and Rudders in the short term.
-
I thought that watching him on Saturday. Hamza was always limited but at least he bought aggression and harried the opposition. Where has that gone?
-
Correct. Succinct and to the point.
-
The way I feel, I would probably trade them for a curly wurly but there's no escaping the fact that on paper we have one of the strongest squads in the division. We should be doing much better.
-
Marti's gone, what happens to January recruitment?
murphy replied to Nalis's topic in Leicester City Forum
We have created our own transfer embargo. Probably for the best... -
At least we'll only have to add an 'N' to the Marti out banners. Convenient.

Option 2 is not an option

In many ways he was dealt a similar hand to Enzo. I know Enzo had a transfer window and pre season but he also inherited a squad of demoralised want-aways. Enzo galvanised his squad in short order. The contrast with Marti is stark. Overall, to be a given a £150m squad of players, almost all of whom have spent the majority of their careers in the Premier League is a hand that most of our rivals at this level would jump at.

'Nice blokes' are the last thing we need.
-
I remember the excitement on this forum when he first came in. Mainly due to the fact that he wasn't Russell Martin, I think. Anyway, thanks for all the "non-stop attacking football" Marti.
