  1. Can't disagree with that. It gives me no pleasure to say it, but the gig's up for Thomas. He is the Danny Ward of full backs.
  2. I think we should play him at left back, since we haven't got one and it would royally piss him off.
  3. Wednesday's protests had little to no effect. It took administration to remove their owners and that will likely be the same for us.
  4. Here's something to cheer you all up. If clown shoes cost us £20m and played 123 times, that means every game cost £162,601.62 PLUS wages and two relegations. You're welcome
  5. No, that will just give you a six grand bill
  6. OK, but during the summer we were accepting all and any offers for anyone. We needed that wage bill down and we didn't spend one penny on incomings. Does Wout seriously expect us to believe that a move to Monaco presented itself in the summer and Marti said, OK, take Mads, take Wilf, take bek, Justin, kasey, Coady... But don't take Wout! And are we are then supposed to further believe that the club, in financial dire straits was OK with that? Furthermore, are we expected to believe that this phantom bid evaded all journalists and leaks and went completely unnoticed and unreported? Monaco and Wout might have spoken but if there was a bid rejected by the club I'll eat my hat. Wout is full of shit.
  7. I think you've misunderstood that. He wanted out and was reintegrated after the summer transfer window came and went with no bids. Again.
  8. I think you're over-thinking this. Just a bit of pantomime
  9. It was brilliant. The instant that VAR crushed his little soul was a thing of beauty. Couldn't have scripted it better. Thanks Ben. Your best moment for Leicester.
  10. For all the doom and gloom it's not beyond the realms of possibility (although unlikely) that we make the play offs this year.
  11. I hate how the modern games requires you to be a bloomin accountant to follow it. The romance....
  12. Then allow me to remind you that our response to losing Fofana was to spend £15m on Vestergaard.
  13. Never played for Leicester of course but in any list of hated players the diabolical Fer Nino deserves a mention.
  14. The jury is in and the verdict has arrived on that one
  15. It is in our interests that Wout does well at Monaco. And yet, I can't bring myself to wish it for him.
  16. Ward Bertrand Vestergaard Faes Coady Soyuncu* Fofana Wise Soumare Perez And Perez again. I think that my Soyuncu choice might need expanding upon, but he was prone to the occasional meltdown, especially that costly Bournemouth game but during our relegation season he went down and feigned injury in to try to win a free kick. It was ignored and Spurs went on to score in the same move. He was called out for it on motd. We basically never saw him again for the rest of the season. He was rightly dropped for it but I thin it highly likely that instead of taking his medicine and coming backing the fold, he sulked and rowed with Rodgers about it hence his exclusion. His antics (and yes I am making assumptions here) left us with Daniel CalAmartry and Wout Farce as our starting centre backs. Relegation followed. For that reason he goes into my bellends XI.
  17. 182 posts of surreal, unintelligible and very boring gobbledegook.
  18. Which was the highly rated one?
  19. I'll believe it when I see it.
  20. I think it's a bit premature to put a Championship level ceiling on them. Who knows how they will develop? Even if you're right, at least they won't get poached and they will provide the nucleus of our Championship rebuild. I would also say that the Oxford manager tipped Nelson as a future England player. I think he will have a Premier League career.
  21. That is a very patronising assumption you're making Ben. I can think of a much simpler explanation.
  22. At the end of the day, as a Premier League club we paid £20m for a Championship level midfielder who has spent most of this season behind Soumare in the pecking order and his signing is just emblematic of the terrible governance at this club that continues as we learn nothing from our previous mistakes. The fact that we are finally getting a tune out of him now and then at Championship level and his putting in a shift against a league two club are not things we should be wetting ourselves about and saying how 'fortunate' we are to have him, it is the bare minimum we should be demanding.
  23. We were very, very unfortunate to have Oliver Skipp because to have him cost us 25 million quid. Nothing fortunate about that. You can't say we're fortunate to have him while ignoring the cost of having him. A hall of famer among the long list of recent disastrous signings. We should also remember that he was signed to play in the Premier League. Thanks Steve! How fortunate we are!
