It's our club.

Regardless of the final points tally, class if 26 beats the 91 and 08 sides by a mile because of relative wage bill and transfer fees. Easily the worst and most revolting Leicester side in history.

I can't think of a single thing.

What shall we call the phoenix club? My vote goes for Leicester City Fosse

Weird tetchiness. I'm offering another perspective and I will bow to his knowledge regarding his own club. Yes, it disagrees with mine but I don't really care about being right or wrong. There too many people that will cling to a losing argument because of dumb pride. I couldn't give a toss. I will just say that in my experience I have seen a lot of protests in football against incumbent owners that have achieved nothing, so I am very sceptical about it You disagree and that's fine.

I'm not "deciding something", I'm simply expressing an opinion the same as you. I'm sure you make a lot of good counter arguments in your post that I can't be bothered to read. I've just spoken to a Sheffield Wednesday supporting mate and asked him if he thought protests made a difference. His response was "It made a difference" (man of few words).
-
That's a very simplistic view. Wednesday went into administration due to years of financial mismanagement by Chansiri (sounds familiar). He was first charged in 2019 regarding clubs accounts. 12 point reduction (reduced to 6) in 2020, transfer embargos for three windows. It all caught up to the extent that they couldn't pay wages last year.

Ashley was at Newcastle for 14 years. I'd say he left at a time of his choosing. It is 'totally wrong' to say that he was booted out of Rangers by the fans. A fan's group partially bought out some of his shares (less than 9%) There were board room disputes, high court cases, dual ownership problems, and his shyster merchandising deal.

I think our problems are deeper than selection and tactics. There isn't a formation that will change things around. Our problems are confidence and mentality and that's what we needed a new manager to inject, but it hasn't been enough. I'm not convinced that this team fixable by anyone.
-
Let's not pretend that protesting ever got rid of an incumbent owner - Mike Ashley, the glazers, chansiri... The only time I can recall protests being successful was against the ill-fated super league but it doesn't work as a means of getting unpopular owners to basically sack themselves. The idea that everything would be fine if only we could have a few more banners or boycott is foolish but getting wound up and turning on fellow fans about it is more brainless still. Protests will make a point, show the powers that be what we think of them and give voice to anger but won't achieve much beyond that.

We have won one game since 5th January. These dossers could not be trusted to beat Oadby Town. 1-1

It is isn't it? And I remember Brian Carey

Almost £6m on Agent fees since February 2025

This is very unfair. I think you're totally underestimating Jon Rudkin -
I disagree with this. I think among the players, some are beaten, checked out, demoralised, bereft of confidence and not putting in a shift, but this squad, unbalanced as it may be, is more than good enough for this level. I Could forgive them if I thought that they weren't good enough, but individually, they are. The performances we are seeing from them is an absolute disgrace. The most dispicable Leicester I side I've ever seen by a mile.

I think two recent clean sheets after a run of zero in thirty games is a sign of improvement under Rowett.

After International Break - Clueless as ever?
murphy replied to Collymore's topic in Leicester City Forum
When we go down, it won't be because Rowett had a weekend away during an international break. I get it though. People are missing their weekly spleen venting. So am I. Don't worry, the weekend will be here soon. -
We didn't need to spend more to buy better players, we just needed to spend more wisely and get players with sell on potential like we used to.

How do you guys understand all this shit? I hate the way the modern game forces fans to become amateur accountants. I draw the line at that.

The fact that Perez was a regular starter for us is precisely why he was a more damaging signing. Don't get me wrong, Daka was an awful signing and a worse player than Perez and I say that as someone who was very excited when we signed him. He was the chosen successor to Vardy and signed after the FA Cup win which I would call the beginning of our decline. We were shielded by Daka's crapness however, because Vardy continued to play for the next 3 years. Perez was Rodgers first marquee signing in 2019 and played for the Champion's League chasing sides. We had quality from one to eleven in that team, except for the glaring powder puff weakness that was Ayoze Perez. I don't know why you bring Praet into it (another terrible signing) since they play in different positions, but I believe that had we got that final piece of the jigsaw right we would have got over the line in terms of CL qualification and who knows what might have been on the back of that, hence why he was a more damaging signing. I also think that because of his price tag along with the fact that we suspect he was Rodgers' pick, meant that we persevered with him for far too long. The accidental pre-assist in the final when the ball hit him on the thigh and dropped to Luke Thomas remains his greatest achievement in a Leicester shirt.

Somehow, for me, Perez was an even worse signing than Daka. Flyaway, lightweight nothing player. Not as bad a player as Daka but for the level we were at, bringing in Perez cost us so dearly. The one glaring weak link in that team. If we had got that one right who knows what we might have achieved or where we might be now.
-
I think he has done as well as could be expected with this group of dossers.
-
I disagree. I think Daka can be relied on. Just not in a good way.
