  1. In the second half I’d love to hear Matt Elliot complete a full sentence in one attempt. Other than that pretty much same again
  2. Yep, that’s how valuable I thought he was to us going into the summer. I was wrong, and as you’ve pointed out, very wrong!
  3. Fair point. My rationale was that he is definitely capable given a run in the side, he showed that for the FA cup run. All clubs are looking for that bargain player that just needs a change of scenery to find some form. I can’t think of a better punt than Nacho for that
  4. Before the season started I’d got Nacho nailed in for 25+ goals this season and bags of confidence for next year. Obviously the lack of impact has been quite shocking. What shocks me more though is that nobody has come in for him this January. Unless we just haven’t heard?
  5. I wonder what impact Willy Caballero is having on these great young keepers? Would Stowell have stifled their willingness to collect a cross by now??
  6. Business management wasn’t it?? Doesn’t quite make sense that someone that’s got a degree from an English university doesn’t know the difference between weeks and months!?
  7. Entirely agree, it always seemed like he’d come in with a great work rate and attitude, have a few good games, start to look less erratic and more composed, then dropped. My personal hunch is that he needs a manager that gives him a role he understands. Keep it really simple. I’d guess that Enzo gives very detailed and complex instructions and you need to be a student of the game / quite sharp to understand the nuances of the role. They just aren’t a good match!
  8. That would be peak Rudkin, sell a player to yourself, but via another club to add their markup.
  9. I didn’t see that but I did see Winks and JJ in heated debate walking off the pitch
  10. Maybe just take a breath at full time before posting? It might save further embarrassment

Nacho is a very endearing character and lots of us have a real soft spot for him. He isn’t a club legend though. He’s a club really nice bloke.
  12. I wasn’t blown away by him but he was no where near as bad as this thread suggests. He was starting to show more regular glimpses of why he’s so highly rated so it’s a shame about the timing. And extremely curious, I’d love to know the full story
  13. Didn’t Abramovich write off all their debts and sell them for peanuts? Presumably the counters were reset (whether officially or through some crafty accounting) when they changed hands
  14. Why?? I’d have said it’s extremely Leicester
  15. Not sure I’ve seen anything more pathetic. Imagine this person’s life. He’s got a kick out of making his banner (that most 6 year olds would be disappointed with) and then posting it for attention. Whilst wearing Crocs with stickers on. Sometimes my vocabulary fails me.
  16. Irrelevant if they committed to a season
  17. This has to be the first part of a jigsaw - why on earth would we allow the loan to be terminated otherwise??
  18. I may be wrong here but .... If he was on loan for the season, and they would have to pay him for that entire time whether they use him or not... then if they send him back we would be within our rights to refuse. Which may mean that Danny Ward is going to replace him and the negotiations are around that deal.... Ie. No refunds sorry .... Take this shiny Goalkeeper, we'll take the faulty left back in and give you some discount / trade-in
  19. Very sad news. I have nothing but fond memories of his time as a Fox. If he's half as nice as the person he appears to be then the world will be a sadder place without him in it. Hope his remaining time is peaceful.
  20. It strikes me that he is surrounded by people that advise him from a position of "what's in it for me".
  21. That's exactly right, spreading limbs out like a star jump is good keeping in that situation, no greater exponents than Kasper and his dad. However have you ever watched an under 7s Goalie? They know that you dive to get to the ball but haven't connected the reason - to get to the ball quicker than running. So they end up completely mis-timing their dive and getting no where near the ball. They execute the dive but not the save. It's comedy gold. Danny Ward isn't 7 but somehow suffered from the same problem with making himself "big"
  22. Exactly this. Over 18 months ago my business premises were burgled and vandalised by a large group of career scrotes. They sent their kids in to do the dirty work and the adults were on hand with vehicles taking away the goods. It was a few months after being closed for 18 months for C19. It was nearly the straw that broke the camel’s back. A couple of weeks ago I got a call from the local Bobby that was assigned to investigate it. Yep, it’s now made it to the top of his ToDo list. We were told by the attending police that night the group had done a handful of robberies the same evening . Imagine how many they’ve done since. Meanwhile, someone says or does something that hurts someone’s feelings and there’s instant response. There’s not an infinite police resource, let’s use it sensibly
  23. I hadn’t until I read this and went to Wikipedia!! Fascinating, and logical. oh, and what a lovely pad Barb had - has it been washed away yet do we know??
  24. Pathetic all round. A sad little boy trying to impress his inbred mates is pathetic enough. To waste police time and your own energy getting offended by it is sinking to their level.
  25. Not too great for the 4th either (although certainly not “at fault”)
