  1. I hope you report this disgusting thief to the Police @Cheese
  2. Time for a pissed up Hamza to snap some legs
  3. An interesting thread full of mixed opinions šŸ˜‚ https://www.readytogo.net/smb/threads/what-is-the-point-in-trai-hume.1630917/
  4. A player that has been on my radar this season, your Ricardo Pereira backup...
  5. Gronbaek scored this weekend too.
  6. I stated on another thread that if the option is there to sign 2-3-4 players in the Ā£15-20 million bracket, then that kind of fee needs to go on a LCB, RCM & ST. I wouldn’t be splashing the cash on wingers tbf, hopefully sign Fatawu permanently, then turn to the loan market or try find a bargain under Ā£10 million. Hutchinson is the most realistic of those you’ve mentioned imo, Clarke & Philogene would probably cost too much.
  7. All of them are good enough shouts tbf. Clarke, Hutchinson & Philogene are all suitable for what Maresca requires from his wingers, all three excel in 1 vs 1 situations, while in Hutchinson & Philogene’s case, their defensive statistics are even better than Fatawu & Mavididi. As for McAtee, it would be no surprise if he ends up here next season.
  8. Greaves will fall in the same bracket as well tbf. Of all the centre backs in the Championship, Greaves & Van Den Berg look by far the most suitable for our style of play.
  9. Rav Van Den Berg from Boro, suits our style of defenders and Boro fans are raving about him.
  10. If the ability is there to sign 2-3-4 players in the Ā£15-20 million bracket like Burnley & Sheffield United did last summer, then that kind of fee needs to go on a LCB, RCM, ST & Fatawu permanently. Then dip into the free transfer, loan & Ā£5-10 million market to add depth to the squad, especially in the central midfield and wing areas šŸ‘šŸ»
  11. Crucible drama at it’s best as Maguire fist pumps into a 10-6 lead. That’s what you get when you fist pump at the wrong time Mr Burn Baby Burn.
  12. Spent a few hours last night assessing Ioannidis. He is exactly what we require from a number 9. Pace, runs in behind, strength, hold up play, link up play, vision, dribbling ability. He has the lot. Gerrimin!
  13. Defence As @Double Decker said, a centre back with pace is absolutely imperative. I wouldn’t be against renewing Vestergaard’s contract, but he’ll need some pace around him. If we are forced to sell players in June, if an offer comes in for Faes, then I’d let him go. A starting LCB preferably with pace is one of three priority positions imo. Then depending on what we do with Vestergaard & Faes, a younger centre back with potential will be needed as back up, someone who can either play RCB or slip into the middle(Vestergaard’s current position). As for departures, Souttar & Kristiansen to be sold or loaned out. Thomas to be released. Midfield This position is going to need a serious revamp, like LCB, a RCM should be one of three priority positions. A starting RCM is 100% needed, while depth will also be desperately needed. I wouldn’t renew Ndidi’s contract, he isn’t a long term solution for what we require in midfield. Praet will also leave on a free. Preferably I think we need an alternative for Winks, as I’ve stated numerous times, there’s going to be numerous games where I don’t think we’ll get away with him as our holding midfielder in the Premier League. We need a ball winner who is also good in possession. Then comes the conundrum of KDH & Soumare. It’s highly possible that we’ll be forced into selling KDH, if so then if Luton go down, Ross Barkley on a free makes so much sense. Then as for Soumare, if an offer comes in, then he should be sold, but it wouldn’t surprise me if Maresca gives him another opportunity. We could be looking at needing five new central midfielders over the summer šŸ˜• Wingers Sign Fatawu on a permanent. I wouldn’t bother with Akgun. Loan out McAteer & Marcal. Let Albrighton go on a free Then two new wingers to come in as competition for Fatawu & Mavididi. Wouldn’t be surprised if we dip into the loan market for those two positions. Strikers New contract for Vardy. Iheanacho can be released. Then either sell Daka or loan out Cannon, but keep one as third choice. Then sign a new number 9 as a priority. It might look a lot, but if you weigh up the situation, we’re going to need a lot more than some people think.
  14. Leicester fans watching the game on Monday night
  15. Just been to change my bed
  16. Always loved QPR since the days of Adel Taarabt
  17. The Crucible is such a niche venue though, as I stated in my post, the intimacy of The Crucible is partly why the World Championship is so special. Can another venue have that effect, in my opinion it would pretty much have to be a carbon copy of The Crucible to make it work. But regarding Hearn’s comments yesterday, he’s stated numerous times in recent years, that a purpose built venue for Snooker is what he wants in Sheffield. This talk is nothing new, but of course it’s been ramped up because the contract is running out, plus the likes of Saudi & Qatar are supposedly sniffing around. Is this just Hearn’s tactic of pushing the blame onto Sheffield, should it move after 2027. In a perfect World the World Championship would stay somewhere in the UK, but of all the overseas names that are being branded about, you could make a seriously good case for moving it to China. Somewhere like Saudi or Qatar would make it lifeless, the fear of it going there will only ramp up in the coming years. Regarding this, I always go by train, but parking wise Ponds Forge is probably your best bet, it’s only down the road from The Crucible šŸ‘šŸ»
  18. Both Ioannidis & Hlozek would probably fall into the Ā£15 million bracket, which would hopefully be a realistic market for us. In Hlozek’s case though, as you said on the other thread, a loan with an option to buy could be a route to go down. Could put a few strikers in that bracket tbf, Eddie Nketiah & David Datro Fofana spring to mind.
  19. West Ham & Fulham supposedly interested in Fotis Ioannidis of Panathinaikos. He’d be my number one choice for a new striker if we secure promotion. Ticks a lot of boxes.
  20. Can’t remember who said it on here last week, but a poster stated that the football could be better under Enzo in games where we don’t dominate possession. On the evidence of tonight, that statement looks correct. Time for Enzo to turn us into a counter attacking team
  21. Thank fvck we didn’t go for Russell Martin as our manager.
  22. Oh Fatawu, that is
