  1. A 6ft2 striker
  2. Have you failed to realise that we haven’t kept a clean sheet in 24 league games
  3. Typical Leicester isn’t it, the signings of Lascelles and Mukasa imo are logical, but they always find a way to depress you by signing someone like Aribo. Yes, we need depth in midfield, but surely there’s better options available than Aribo, this just stinks of Martyn Glover getting desperate. All we can pray for is that Aribo suddenly has a new lease of life 😕
  4. But we also need leaders, that’s why there’s mostly positivity on this signing. January is always a difficult window, finding someone with leadership qualities is difficult, looking at potential options from the Premier League, realistically your left with either Jamaal Lascelles, Luke O’Nien and Ethan Pinnock(Has Premier League interest). I don’t think we can afford to wait until the summer to add 1-2 leaders. Just ask yourself this, do you really want to persist with Ricardo, Vestergaard, Choudhury, BDCR, Ayew and maybe Winks as our experienced leadership group? I think every single Leicester fan would swap them out if we could. Lascelles brings attributes that none of them really possess.
  5. Oh yes 🤦‍♂️ Very much agree with Awoniyi and Szmodics, they are probably the two standouts who could be available, outside of those two, the potential options in the Bundesliga look more promising than the rest.
  6. Starting to think Mukasa could be the one who will be deployed as a striker. If you’re stuck to the loan market, then you’re severely limiting your options. Looking across the main leagues in Europe, the potential options for a loan striker are very underwhelming. Your just looking at a bunch of players who have hardly scored this season. La Liga - Sheraldo Becker 🤷‍♂️ Takuma Asano 🤷‍♂️ but they are probably better as wide players. Serie A - Best bet is probably a Udinese striker, but doubt they’d loan to us. Ligue 1 - Not many options apart from maybe a Lorient striker. Bundesliga - Samuel Essende 🤷‍♂️ while you have a cluster of youngsters not getting much game time. Outside of those - Sam Lammers(Twente), Cyle Larin(Feyenoord/Mallorca), Myron Boadu(PSV), Deniz Gul(Porto), Kelechi Iheanacho , some has-been from Turkey. If you’re looking at home, then Joel Piroe now seems unlikely, Chelsea seem to have zero interest in loaning out Marc Guiu, that just leaves you with Awoniyi or maybe being one of those clubs in the mix for Szmodics.
  7. Let’s hope it’s more a Huth style impact than a Coady one
  8. It’s difficult to praise our recruitment team, but signing a player like Lascelles clearly has some thought behind it. Adding leadership qualities has been a must in this window, and as I said in this thread yesterday, Lascelles is probably the most realistic we can get at this moment in time who will bring those qualities. Also since Nelson has come into the team, it’s been pretty evident that he needs a better partner alongside him. Of course it’s only right to be sceptical of Lascelles injury record over the past few seasons, but focusing on the positives, we have been crying out for a player of his profile. Experienced ☑️ Leader ☑️
  9. After reading the Watford observers article on Gracia’s departure, it seems he’d rather be in Spain with his family. Also wasn’t happy with what the Pozzo’s presented him in the transfer market, he rejected three left-back options, one being Harry Amass.
  10. Looking forward to our deadline day loan striker tomorrow
  11. Very much looking forward to League 1, as we replace Jordan Ayew and Patson Daka, with Paul Mullin and Jay Rodriguez.
  12. Top & Rudkin on the phone to Enzo
  13. Now we know why Top left the match. To snort some cocaine before ringing Enzo.
  14. Tbf, after looking around for experienced players with leadership qualities, Lascelles would be right near the top of my list. Would just depend if he could stay fit.
  15. Watford took Max Alleyne on loan from Man City earlier this season, barely any first team minutes, and ended up looking like one of Watford’s best players. Of potential loans from the Premier League who can play the 8/10 role, Mukasa is one of the most realistic we can get. Don’t mind it if this comes off, but also agree with other comments, we need 1-2 more experienced signings who know the division.
  16. Starting to enter the Rowett camp myself. We need someone who can solidify a defence, at most clubs he’s been at, his goals against numbers have usually been decent. If he can also bring some grit and fight, then I’d be content with him, but only on a short term contract.
  17. Youth aside, this is the most unlikeable Leicester team in my lifetime.
  18. Top clearly left so he can call Chris Coleman
  19. Ffs, might have to get my Dad’s air rifle out
  20. That’s what you get for not signing Dykes
  21. Surprise, surprise, weak as piss defending
  22. Can we bring Faes back 🤔
