Excellent point. I’ve been thinking heavily about this as well since last nights performance. Every good team has a strong leadership group, at our best we had the likes of Schmeichel, Morgan, Huth, Fuchs, Albrighton, the younger players in the group could rely on them. Now our leadership group consists of Ricardo, Vestergaard, Choudhury, Reid, Ayew and of course Winks was an experienced head but he wants out. What could well turn out to be our strongest ever group of academy talent, they have to look towards an uninspired leadership group. We’ve lost some major characters over the years and simply not replaced them, it’s a massive problem in a long list of massive problems that are currently killing us. I look at certain teams in the Premier League, Brentford signed Jordan Henderson, Sunderland signed Granit Xhaka. Where’s our Henderson or Xhaka? We don’t have one and it’s killing us.

If this comes off, our best bet is seeing whether Sunderland would be willing to loan out Dennis Cirkin, or if Everton would be willing to loan out Adam Aznou. Otherwise you’re probably left looking abroad.

When things get desperate, you just know they’ll turn to one of Unique Sports Group, Wasserman or CAA Stellar for a signing.

I gave up my season ticket after the return from Covid, anxiety issues and all that. Since then, I haven’t felt any motivation to go back to the King Power stadium, just because I don’t want to associate myself and spend good money to watch this current mess. We’ve had the highest of highs, and the lowest of lows, but in my lifetime, I’ve never known the club to be in such an unlikeable position than it is now. Years of mismanagement have turned us into such an unlikeable mess. To go from the likes of Schmeichel, Morgan, Huth, Fuchs, Vardy. To Faes, Okoli, Vestergaard, Ayew and numerous other unlikeable players, is absolutely fvcking criminal.

We’ve seen it so many times with Leicester managers, whether through body language on the touchline, or through comments in post match interviews, you just know their time is done. Tonight feels like that time for Cifuentes. To come out and partly blame the wind shows that he’s officially lost the plot. Going full blown Ty from AFTV and making yourself a laughing stock, surely there’s no way back from that.

The most infuriated I’ve felt after a game this season. A performance of nothingness, and keeping Jordan Ayew on for the whole game just took the piss, so much so, I started screaming “Cvnt” at my tv screen. Thanks Marti, you’ve made me feel broken.

Glad this thread is active, because he’s been infuriating me lately. He’s been a great servant, and injuries have clearly hampered him in recent years, but from a pure captain perspective, he ain’t no fvcking leader. All I’m getting right now is a guy who gets rinsed, gives away free-kicks, then moans and waves his arms about. We don’t have anybody at this football club that is captain material, our so called leadership group is the fvcking pits.
