  1. Yep, all over that!
  2. Make sure you set aside a good 2-hours then mate. That's how long I was on hold on Friday.
  3. Going Nottingham for the Dot2Dot Festival.
  4. Yep would definitely agree on both accounts. Bit more info on the previous page I think. But they're incredible books! My favourite ever series.
  5. Give it the guy who swung a punch at Ian Walker 'till the end of the season.
  6. Took over 2-hours to get through on the phone, then 10 seconds for them to do it. Why on earth can't you transfer an adult ticket to a lower bracker online?
  7. 25mins on the phone and currently still 18th in the queue.
  8. Right, thanks. Yeh what a needless barrier to getting a young kid in.
  9. Apparently you can't send an adult ticket to an U12. Is that right? Seems ridiculous. We have set up a young lad as a friends and family on our account, want to send an adult ticket to him, but won't let us. Anyway around this?
  10. Yeh it's not that far from me. Played a long time ago but it was very nice, pretty pricey though for visitors.
  11. haha yeh same, its the one club that consistently goes straight. I notice more and more people using a 7-wood which I'm quite tempted to try out.
  12. Wonder how many more hours this forum put into player research compared to the Club?
  13. Really excited for the album, mostly because of how good The New Abnormal is. This single might need a few more listens for me though.
  14. Okay cheers. I've also got Dungeon Crawler Carl on my lost too which was mentioned above. They'll keep me busy for a while.
  15. No I've not read either. Worth a go?
  16. Haha, yeh definitely been taken up by those types. It is a genuinely fun sport though. It's always played in doubles so you obviously need 4 of you to get a game going. But its very forgiving, I think you can have a decent game without anyone needing to be particularly good at it. Far more so than tennis anyway.
  17. B. Steve Corica The streets might forget
  18. Haha I know, we were discussing how much he's getting paid for that. He came on for Damascus off the new album, then did Stylo which was class. is it fair to say they're a bit underrated? I know they're huge but they've got some genuine classic albums but never seem to be spoken about in the same way as other great bands. Perhaps because of the whole animation/mystery of them?
  19. Haha, saw them last night in Brum and thought the exact same. Couldn't sleep for ages as my ears were ringing. Great night though! Enjoyed the stuff off the new album as well. Also saw Gorillaz in Manchester Saturday who were superb. Incredible visuals and so many different artists and styles. He brought out Mos Def, Bootie Brown, your man from De La Soul amongst others.
  20. Is there a given reason why it takes 2 months to publish the minutes?
  21. Sorry you feel this way mate, I'm exactly the same. It's really really depressing. But this is what I'm doing as well, season ticket for my local non-league side next year. There's quite a nice link too as Tim Flowers is the current manager haha (although not sure for how long).
  22. Yeh exactly, and how that the progrsses. Ah well, as I say mates who'd not read the book still really enjoyed it.
  23. I went on Saturday and loved it too! I really think they nailed the humour as well, which could easily have got far too cringe. Yeh I'd read it too, but we went as a group with most having not read it and they seemed to enjoy it just as much. So I think it's one to please the audience regardless. Only thing I'd say to peple who haven't read the book, is to not watch the trailer. Reveals too mcuh for me.
  24. I went back last year (only other time was for our QF with Sevila) and had a very different trip. Incredible City, now in my top 5. Absolutely beautiful, amazing architecture, full of history but rammed full of great bars and restaurants. They are the main tourist attractions but definitely well worth seeing Plaza de Espana, the Alcazar and the catherdral. If I remember right we got joint tickets for the latter two. Setas de Sevilla is the big wooden structure which you can go up and walk around. Personally I think it's quite a cool addition to the skyline but unless you're looking to fill your time, not really worth the money and time to go up. You can get better/similar views elsewhere. It's obviously popular for a reason though so have a look. A bit basic, but we really enjoyed the walking tour we took on the first day. Got to learn a fair bit about the history of the place and also got the geography of it sorted pretty quickly and knew which areas we wanted to go back to. There's loads, just google them. If you didn't get to the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán Stadium when we were there, get there for a game if it lands well. Right then, food and booze. These are pretty traditional spanish tapas bars; noisy, hot, absolutely packed at lunch and dinner, rude staff but absolutely superb tapas and dirt cheap beer and wine. I absolutely love them. Bar Alfalfa - Particularly good tapas, find a tiny bit of space and start ordering. Casa Morales - Our favourite bar, we went about 4 times. Lunchtime is best in the backroom, the menu is written on these huge wine barrels. Again just find some space and start ordering. If you're not fussy then just ask them to bring you some of what they reccomend. Everything we had was excellent. Also get yourself a Tinto de verano (like a red wine soda drink) and a few glasses of vermouth Dos de Mayo - More of a pub sort of vibe. Then if you want a bit more of an upmarket meal out, we enjoyed Petite Comite. DM me if you want a list of about 20 bars haha, but I won't type them all out here. Have a great time!
