  1. Leeds haven't lost that many of note, especially compared to us. As I said though, a lot more incomings and outgoings could easily change it. I just think with the 3 squads as they are at the moment, along with the experience of each of the managers, they look slightly better off.
  2. Agreed, as they currently are I think both Southampton and Leeds probably look stronger than us. But a few more signings in and out for all could easily change that.
  3. Love this album and reminds me of great times round Brum when these came out at the same time as Jaws, Peace and others. Did you ever come across Troumaca? They unfortunately only lasted 1 album as the bassist tragically passed away. But they were brilliant!
  4. Marr on Bass?! Drummer - Ye man from Bloc Party Guitar - Johnny Marr Bass - McCartney Vocals - Aretha Franklin
  5. Absolutely have to get rid. The more the merrier for me from this bunch, especially those on huge wages like he supposedly is. We obviously haven't seen the best of him but we have to be more ruthless going forward. Unless you're fully committed to us, you can go.
  6. Saw Arctic Monkeys in Sheff and then Bruce Springsteen on Friday at Villa Park. Both great gigs but The Boss was next level. Incredible show. Was anyone else there?
  7. Smith or Parker would be unimaginative at best and a last minute punt into the box last minute kind of appointment. Which is probably where we're at as a club at the moment. Appointing Gerrard would be continued negligence though. Even some surface level research into his time as a manager you can see it went drastically downhill for him when Michael Beale moved on.
  8. Only Boro for me to do. Just never fallen right for me in the past, so hoping that stays a decent k.o time/day. Lots I'm looking forward to revisiting though.
  9. Far more chance of us going down again than coming straight back up unfortunately. That's not trying to be overly pessimistic, just based on which players would have to leave and our financial mess.
  10. I'm not so confident, it definitely feels like we're going in opposite directions. They seem to be one of the most ambitious clubs in the league at the moment. They'll chuck loads of money at new players in the summer, who'd be joining an already good squad with a great manager. Looks like they're also bringing in Barca's sporting director. Unsure how that will go but either way it's a big move. They'll be targeting top 6.
  11. Haha love that!
  12. I don't think we have any other option than to go 5/3 at the back with Barnes out.
  13. It's just refreshing to read after the dredge we've had in pressers for the past few years. Nice and simple, straight talking and positive.
  14. Reminder for anyone making a weekend of it and staying over, its the Manchester Marathon on Sunday so loads of road closures etc.
  15. Any date on Tielemans being back? Seemed to suggest he's not far off on Instagram.
  16. I'm in SK1 and not had it weirdly. Managed to find a link on Instagram and filled it in. So presume anyone can.
  17. Has everyone had the club survey? Not had anything.
  18. I love it. It's unique, it's ours, it's sung by majority and stops the god awful, ridiculously loud music they play pre-kick off. If we didn't have it we'd be clapping along to some chart song right up till kick off. Long may it continue.
  19. VK being back is a big plus. Some aggression and ambition to get forward on the left hand side. Do wonder that Barnes will come back in though and we'll go back to a back 4 with VK LB, Ricardo RB. Give Tim a rest.
  20. Yeh we've been selected for this. 3 of us.
  21. I feel Hassenhuttl looks currently most realistic and if we could persuade him I'd just give it him until the end of the season and then reevaluate.
  22. Yeh, would be a good excuse to turn to non-league for me.
  23. Big fan. Went to see them in Dublin end of last year and they were brilliant. Love the slight shift in sound on the last album and it was album of the year for me. Definitely recommend checking them out live if you get chance.
  24. Completely agree and think he suffered from being on the right instead of the left. He struggled to play those balls down the line to Tete because he kept trying to use his left foot because it's his strongest.
