  1. Thanks mate. I've tried both but buttermilk is definitely my preference, with a fair bit of hot sauce and seasoning in. Never actually tried a batter so will have to go e that a go, but I always use a mix of corn flour and regular flour for the dredge. Interesting in the white pepper though, I'm the same, not used it out of laziness as I never have it in. Will definitely give it a go. Thanks for the channel suggestion too, will look him up.
  2. That looks great mate! Have been on a journey myself trying to perfect fried chicken. Did two buffalo wings, two sticky siracha and a standard chicken burger here. Love trying different approaches to brining the chicken and different flour dredge.
  3. The Old Royal or The Old Contemtables are both a 5min walk from Snowhill Station and open from 10am.
  4. 3 on the website still
  5. Safe Standing option for this. Didn't realise they'd put them in.
  6. Haha hopefully goes without saying that's where to go nearer the ground.
  7. Their reduced allocation is down to selling of a chunk of the away end for semi-permanent advertising. Apparently not many clubs take up the full 3,000ish so they make more from 2,000+advertising. Anyway, looking forward to it. For those looking to avoid the German Market, there's some great little pubs (Red Lion, Queen's Arms, Jewellers Arms, The Church and loads others) in the Jewellery Quarter. 10min walk from City Centre. You can then get a tram direct to the Hawthorns. Hen & Chickens also great for a post-match beer and curry too.
  8. Ah great, wondered what had happened to this one. Big fan.
  9. Saw Gaz earlier this year and thought he was great. I think his latest album is his best by a distance. Enjoy!
  10. I think the only reason he hasn't been close to that Spurs team is he's been very unlucky having Mourinho and Conte back to back who both want a DM or normally two in their midfield. His only option then was playing further forward which isn't his game. Few Spurs mates of mine were v confident he'd be brilliant for us and always mention when he basically ran the show at the Bernabeu during a 1-1 draw.
  11. For me it's to have 15/20mins with my mates I only normally see on matchdays. Quite happy to miss 5 mins of a 90min game, it's not the end of the world. Although don't tend to go down until after 40th min.
  12. Haha yeh, that was a brave move and I love this album too. As I say, only properly got into him a few years back and still have a fair bit of his discography to listen to. As well as that, I think Dylan named "Time out of Mind" after the lyric in Like a Martyr.
  13. Good to hear Enzo calling out our home support and asking for a bit more. Yet again proving that it matters to players and managers.
  14. Everyday he gets better, He knew in his heart he was Leicester, We'd love him to stay here forever. because he's just so highly rated. Kasey Maccs! Woo ooo woo ooo, Kasey Maccs! Woo oo woo ooo!
  15. Looks about half a block left which is pretty good going for probably the worst KO time going. Think majority will go by next week.
  16. Yep, I think its far more a club thing than a playing staff thing. We had Vardy, Evans, Maddison, Youri last season. All who should have but didn't step up. The bigger issue was the lack of leadership top/Top down.
  17. Also think we're benefitting from having a competent goalkeeper. I do think more goals will come though, only Southampton are averaging more shots on target per game than us. Just hope with the new wingers coming in we can convert more of our chances.
  18. We need some more girls in here!
  19. Yeh same, few trains going for £4 which seems very reasonable!
  20. Encouraging, at least in the short term that he's being demanding of the club. Obviously it will go one of two ways for him. He clearly won't hang about too long if he doesn't feel he's been properly backed. I wonder whether the strong start has put him in a better negotiating position with the club, or worse? Hopefully they can see that despite the points on the board, there's still gaping holes in the squad.
  21. 2 in, 3 out perhaps. Also I hope Braybrooke and Alves will come into the first team squad when got. Braybrooke could be the Winks back up if we don't manage to bring in another midfielder.
  22. This is great!
  23. Came to Warren Zevon relatively quite late, but he's a superb lyricist and this is such a listenable album despite being pretty dark in places.
  24. Yes! What an album. Feel like this gets forgotten about because of the commercial success Run Come Save Me, had. This is an all time classic UKHH album for me. Going to listen right now.
