Like Ric said, honestly thought he’d knuckle down this year and be reliable after the remote bit of form he showed at the back end of last season. Some really poor showings last couple of weeks, you can see his fouls coming miles off before they even happen. So clumsy and poor reading of the game. But for some in this thread to suggest Vestegaard only plays safe 5 yard passes and even when examples are provided that contradict it, knock him for it - that is just absolute waffle. He's the only defender we have that can play that pass in that particular clip regardless of whether the execution is off - I still blame Ayew being on his heels for it not coming off... it's the way he's being asked to play, he has that responsibility to be the outlet in building from the back. Okoli puts that particular pass into the away end.
