  1. Were happy to spend that on Jordan Ayew a month later though. Mind boggles.
  2. You won’t find a single team in the premier league that gets dominated by Everton at their own gaff this year. Sackable offence on its own.
  3. Upon that team news and him not being in the squad again, I heard on the grapevine in the week that Vestergaard and Cooper have had a falling out.
  4. Mads, Justin, Faes, Okoli, Kristiansen, Ndidi, Winks, El Khannouss, Mavididi, Ayew, Vards.
  5. Everyone all in on Nick Di Marco’s book as a thank you I reckon
  6. They’d be playing a dangerous game considering they broke PSR when we got relegated at their expense. Pretty sure Di Marco represented Forest too
  7. I think I’ve got that right.. I’ve been sent it all a bit jumbled up. You’ll have to see in 5mins
  8. Team is Hermansen, Justin, Okoli, Faes, Kristiansen, Skipp, Ndidi, Winks, Fatawu, Vardy, Ayew
  9. Ain't no way Leganes have got 10m to spend on a player EDIT: For the record in this case I hope we don't either
  10. You just wouldn't though.
  11. Quite happy with it as long as we're not getting tied into a ridiculous obligation to buy like Ipswich were going to. Also, what's the medical issue?
  12. I reckon you've got about an hour to hear of a rumour before we get to the point nothing is happening for the day. We've got no chance of turning a deal around in less than that time
  13. Tete just about sums up this summer that
  14. He’s obviously the one we’re going to make a last minute dash for at striker.
  15. It’s defo the goalkeeper for the avoidance of doubt. 10m.
  16. Faes has played on the left in the first two games and will continue to do so whilst Justin is on the right. That way Vestergaard has pace on both sides of him.
  17. You watch Ndidi build up deep in possession of a side that doesn’t even have much of the ball and you realise why Enzo kept him well away from it higher up the pitch, even at a lower level.
  18. You can see a mile off that Reid and Ayew are Cooper purchases. You can also see a mile off they’re going to be proper teachers pets too.
  19. You have absolutely nailed why he’s not getting in to the team here in the second paragraph onwards. Amazed more aren’t realising this is the reason. The bit I’ve highlighted won’t happen unfortunately - Cooper doesn’t want Fatawu to drift inside and wants him to hold the width which wouldn’t make the room for Ricardo. This is the crux of it and why he’s not getting in the team, not that I at all agree with it. Also why Enzo deploying him in the way he did last year was such a masterstroke.
  20. Never should have got the job in the first place, and now we’ll most likely be stuck with the finger over the big red button for months deciding whether we can afford to pay him off. The football is dire. He’s picked up weird agendas against players (and their tactical roles) that got us here. And the clear Cooper-picks of recruitment - Reid, Ayew and Skipp will most probably be a let down. Massive feeling of inevitability about it all and that’s not even taking into account the points deductions.
  21. Some of us watch football with our eyes. That and some of us can actually distinguish when age can play a part between what’s a good deal and what is a bad deal.
  22. He’s the 14th most expensive over 30 attacker in premier league history
  23. Wonder if Cooper can fine tune him like he did Gibbs-White and Johnson.
  24. Looked every bit the captain when he took the armband - gave Fatawu a proper bollocking for not being switched onto one of the set piece routines. His calmness on the ball will be integral when we’re struggling to get hold of it.
