Mainly because it was originally going to be played on a heavily used pitch, so albeit at short notice, no rules were broken. Used pitches heavily favour spinners too. So it's not like we were intentionally screwing the other team over. If the pitch was in poor condition but not changed it would have been criticised too . I don't agree that a semi final venue for this tournament should have already be selected for one team only though. That's not right.

Yeah the first few games are not for a neutral viewer. Can't imagine the viewing figures will be high. Hopefully be a good tournament nonetheless.

Envious of where Palace are at and more so where they're heading with a coach like Glasner. Granted they may lose one or more of Guehi, Eze or Olise this summer, but they seem in capable hands at the moment...
