The creative outlet we need
-
Maybe that don’t want to pay the fee Liverpool are asking. If Tanner is being fed information it’s not adding up or it simply lends weight to the underhanded way they go about business when they simply can’t afford it - so not even Cooper knows what really is going on let alone us fans.

Steven Bergwijn - signed for Al-Ittihad

The strategy in itself doesn’t make a lot of sense as you could spend the same amount of money (fee/wages) of better players - but I assume if they aren’t hitting Cooper’s remit of prem experience. But again the club should be sticking to their own philosophy and approach. I can’t t trust the club will pull anything out the bag and we’re again on a hiring to nothing with an aimless strategy from the hierarchy who’ve pinned their hopes on Cooper performing a miracle. -

A player we tried to sign and went Spurs instead, maybe i'm wrong. -
He also suggests that we may not go for Carvalho for the same reason we didn’t persist with Nelson, money/ wages. Imagine he’s on less so that doesn’t add up or we’re now reverted to the bargain basement in the area that is the most important and also the most expensive to recruit well in.

50k followers and a better indicator is he is followed by a few football journos, doesn’t make him reliable but he seems from his timeline more genuine than a Bull Sh@tter like IndyKaila. We don’t know the source it is him stating this.

Premier League and money.

Another Patson Daka if you will 👀 -
Yes back to Rennes

Sky sports ahead of the curve again I see.

We find ourselves in the position where we are in desperate need attacking players. Losing our best player stats wise and Vardy clearly isn’t fit. So we’ve no creativity and Daka who scored 7 goals last season, we likely go into the season much weaker. I thought Cooper would be more pragmatic in his style, we simply don’t have the players for possession football in the premier league. This is where club failures are starting to shine and the lack of clear communication or action is baffling. Are we that skint or is Rudkin not able to successfully able to negotiate multiple deals. The poor communication we’ve had from the club across the board all feels by design. I thought last summer we’d learnt some lessons and by and large has good preparation going into that season. Just feels like there is an air of inevitability but Cooper already seems frustrated with transfer progress.

Again used to move it along.
-
Didn’t realise he had played around 40% of the time as an AM, he would definitely add the flexibility we need for that. Juries out as to his output for goals and assists after losing KDH but he’s on an upward trajectory. Right time to buy him.
-
Apparently visited Rennes yesterday with the expectation to sign for them. But has now flown back. Maybe we’ve been used to push a deal along or maybe there is late strong interest! A right winger though, meh.

No actual credible link to us!

He is lurking in the background. Check his activity and likes Sometimes staying away from here is the best thing to avoid the crazy knee jerk reactions.

HITC football can definitely go in the lowest tear of @Finnegan rating system IMO

Average age of the 4 players with signed so far is 23. -
RIP shakey. Part of the most successful team ever at our club, started a rebuild that transformed us from the disaster of league one. Can’t remember another pro in the game having anything other than praise and how much of a nice person he was. Too young and completely devastating.

The problem with that logic, which all seems reasonable, is that Rudkin is incapable of pulling off multiple transfer deals simultaneously. It seems all so haphazard still.
-
And you should be very careful what you post, to avoid any defamation lawsuits..

A little perspective always helps. On that basis he would be a hard worker a trait if we have any chance (I don’t think we do) of staying up we desperately need. But this would be a disaster if this was instead of more better signings expected to start. With a month left one would hope we’re getting our ducks in order and we pull of some encouraging creative options too. But that’s probably wishful thinking.
