  1. Very true. We’re run by people that should have seen the door long ago , there is zero accountability here. But even our biggest players we can’t and shouldn’t just keep a hold of them ie Tielemans goes for nothing. We just need to get better at signing players to replace them. Which is monumental task for the clowns that keep failing to do this.
  2. Even in the premier league we will lose our best. It’s the layer cake son and we’re at the bottom eating shït. We of course are eating lots of it due to the clowns that have got us here.
  3. So it can happen. Thanks Enzo.
  4. Im sure Man City will blow them out the water, I’m sure his agent will get a bigger pay day and Monga can be persuaded. Another move is still possible. Doubt will be getting a huge amount over what we may get for arsenal, it’ll certainly get things moving.

  6. The name alone. Brass eye esque satire.
  7. Besides Walsh (!), Ben Wrigglesworth and Macia are just two and they were very important to the way we worked and the players we used to sign. From 2019 since macia left we’re basically relying on Congerton, Glover and Rudkin. It would tally up with the obvious timeline and decline. We often see job openings for analysts, we clearly have a high turnover and probably not seen as a good career move right now. I hope McCarron has a remit to invest and change. Time will tell.
  8. Our best scouts and analysts have left, in effect i'd imagine those that remain could be decent and still utilise the methodology built from the Pearson era but they're effectively likely looking at players from a list presented to them that has likely stemmed from agents or compiled by Glover. There is absolutely no way our signings over the last few years stemmed from statistical analysis of a wide data set of players that fit a profile of player that we would need for a particular position. Jordan James a long time target alongside the likes of Lookman who leave for pastures new because the club are run by imbeciles. The issue stemmed from losing those that implemented the system under Pearson, other's leaving that knew the system and then allowing subsequent managers to have more control on who we target that likely didn't start with any scout or analyst. Our board now find themselves by the looks of it relying on strong relationships with agents rather than structure and system, it all feels rank amateur. It is why we sign the likes of Skipp, Ayew and BDR My outside hope is McCarron does indeed emphasise the need for the structure to change, clearly Rudkin shouldn't be anywhere near recruitment but only time will tell how effective McCarron can be to rebuild a broken system.
  9. His success likely depends if the latter likely happens. It’s all on him.
  10. Tielemans, we definitely scouted before Puel. Puel also wanted to bomb Vardy out. Lot of revisionism going on here. He wasn’t the worst we’ve ever had and he impeccably managed the situation when Vichai passed. But we underperformed while being very boring, he setup Rodger’s very nicely.
  11. And isn’t the profile of defender RM would use.
  12. I already hate the sound of his voice. Poor guy, I'm sure he is bright enough and a nice guy but some of the stuff he regurgitates (guess from the club) is ill informed, tiring and naïve.
  13. Nothing announced. It’s still all very amateurish. I’d go back to the ignorance of not knowing
  14. Ex Southampton, injury prone, would make sense !
  15. If accurate (it is Rama after all) yet another ominous sign, consequences starting to catch up due the ineptitude of the long term strategy employed by our board.
  16. I remember Gary Megson getting booed relentlessly at one match and we were more than happy once he left after only six weeks. He should have never been appointed. RM is similar to Megson, unlikeable and completely wrong for what we need as a club. This will be a huge mistake. I would of course love to be proven wrong but this regime don’t have the structural recruitment capability and more importantly money to do what’s needed to win promotion next season under RM. Its their sheer arrogance and incompetence that will sadly cost people their jobs and not fans booing.
  17. With that name, you have to be a parody.
  18. He’s the new Mercury correspondent. He’s definitely treading carefully in what he says. He will get full access as a club yes man. The official MSM output will be carefully managed by the club, to talk positively about the club only. The club don’t listen or care about anything outside the positive feedback loop inside that boardroom. I get that a club can’t base their strategy around the whims of what we moan about on here. But I don’t get the logic of getting RM with the insistence of the style of play, we know won’t work and will be so boring. Fine don’t listen to your fans, we will talk with our feet and boo and make it toxic if this doesn’t get off to a great start. Then the tools are back to square one, again.
  19. First bit sounds a lot like Marti. But if he is a builder and his style sounds like he doesn’t insist on the possession for the sake of it shite then he sounds more tempting than RM. Is he a ‘nice’ guy? We need a little discipline to lift standards.
  20. This is why KP need to go, it should be obvious to anyone what the issues are, but Top is a dimwit and the best outcome now is we are sold as the alternative is administration.
  21. Its the same repeated pattern, why anyone would expect the right appointment to be made at the end of this 'search' for a new manager is beyond me. And yes 43 days after relegation @alanf0x, like @Ric Flair has said, we do appear to jump to the tune of our revered leader, who jets off and prances around playing Polo and it is as if the club can't make a decision until he is back. He really shouldn't be anywhere near making decisions, he needs to appoint a better set of experts (like his dad) and then prance around all he wants, that way we will make better pragmatic footballing choices and a lot quicker too. But here we are looking like we will be once again ill prepared and rushing around at the backend of pre Season. We never rush, we're just unorganised and run by amateur's, the slow scatter gun approach is just how we roll and is why we now find ourselves in League One.
  22. This is a huge problem by the sounds of it. Rudkin is in bed with the agents. The effect is to an extent, we’re relying on them for recruitment and deciding the future of our talented youngsters, away from our club. The powers that be clearly won’t join the dots up. Farce.
  23. Comments turned off on twitter. Wise move.
  24. Same with any league we’re in. Many clubs are moving away from it. But like you’ve said, it will be even harder in a more much physical league. Don’t expect our strategy to change unless Rudkin or Top are gone.
