loved Mendes, my stepfather’s family were from Sao Paolo and Rio - I’ve been lucky enough to see and hear some fantastic Bossa Nova jazz musicians whilst in Brazil. A sad loss.

It was meant in a lighthearted manner but these two examples above stood out. I remember both of these things from my childhood and my local town has next to no litter or dog sh1t. Given the growth in population I’m not surprised that it’s probably worse than ever in some areas but I think there’s some selective memory here sometimes.

Contrary to other reply, Wife and I loved it, been at least four times. Brilliant Christmas market, nice shops and some decent pubs. We loved Nyhavn, pretty place with a few good restaurants. Haven’t been for a while so can’t be more specific, maybe others will chip in. Didn’t find it too expensive, on a par with similar places 👍

Are these things still in vogue now? I don’t have a gas supply so reliant on electricity for cooking. While my wife is working away, normally for a week at a time, I feel it’s a waste of electricity putting hobs/oven on just for me so I’m looking for alternatives. It would probably be used when she’s home too so would need to be a reasonable size. Any recommendations on alternative ways of cooking or if they’re worth it, makes and models?

I’d rather he lied tbh, I don’t need any more reasons for the overhyped pop group to get on my tits than already exist 😂
