Have to say whilst there are lots of winning games here, as a traumatised kid if you say Leicester and 4-3 it instantly makes me think of Swindon ****ing Town and Glenn bloody Hoddle.

I don’t know anything about the running of the club and I know a very well played footballer is not necessarily a good example, but when Vardy name dropped and said “better ask Jon Rudkin” or whatever it was, it’s not exactly the endorsement of a well liked man. Is that the words of someone who has an individual problem with a person or something you’d say knowing you have the silent backing of a lot of others?

Call me old fashioned but I always thought part of being a manager was leading a team to the most success with what you have at your disposal. All this crying about players not suiting a style and not being able to adapt just says bad manager to me. I think even Arteta relented (a bit) at times at Arsenal before he could adjust the squad to a bit more of what he wanted. Maresca did what we needed here but you can’t help but feel he could have done, strangely, a little better. Which is mad to say considering we won the league. I expect Chelsea will be ok for him, inherits a more talented squad for sure but I doubt it will be easy for him. Lets just see who we get next and hope we can do enough to stay up next year, however tough that is going to be.

Barnes was one of the most frustrating players I’ve seen in a Leicester shirt. had the capability to be absolutely brilliant or absolute utter garbage and you never knew which it would be. The face he pulled when it wasn’t going for him, like a dejected kid not getting what he wanted, used to right piss me off 🤣

Hard to believe with all the time we’ve spent in the prem that before 2014 our most recent second division title was six years before I was born. I think I convinced myself Mickey Adams promoted us as champs. Anyway, those 90’s play off years will live long in my memory and were special, special times. But you just can’t beat winning the league can you. Playoffs would give me a heart attack these days (Cardiff and Watford was enough thanks), as well as “new” Wembley being a bit shit and second place is a bit boring.

Just looking at the table (crazy math here, brace yourselves). Should Preston beat Boro tonight and we then take 3 points on Saturday, Boro will be on 41 points and we will be sat on 81. One point away from double their own total 2/3 through the season. Incredible really.

Thought he was great again yesterday. Few wayward passes but not so sure that was his all on him as much as a team breakdown. Many others made bad passes and far worse decision, but it gets highlighted more as a keeper giving the ball away.

Agree completely, need to be a little more positive and be better extending those leads in these kinds of games. We’ve been incredibly wasteful at times in more than just the game. We really have problems up front. We were noticeably worse once Kel came on for Daka. Luckily Daka hit some form recently else we’d be in a far worse position already. On the plus we’re yet to completely collapse and lose from a winning position, but two last minute equalisers is poor.
