Might have wrong, but in the last 5 seasons we’ve sold two players we’ve bought for a profit. Along with ridiculous contracts and many players leaving on frees it’s painfully obvious where our on pitch and off pitch troubles are.

Feels like we’ve got two roads ahead as a club: 1) admit we messed up, take the punishment, make the necessary changes in the club to prevent it happening again. 2) fight it, try and get away with it and maintain BAU operations I hope for 1) but expect 2) 😢

Alright, imagine you have a piggy bank, and your parents say you can only spend a certain amount of money from it each year. If you spend too much, they might say, "Hey, you need to be more careful with your money!". Leicester City, a football team, had rules about how much money they could spend while they were in the Premier League. But now, the Premier League says they spent too much and didn’t follow the rules properly. So, they might have to face a punishment, like losing points in their games. Leicester City doesn’t agree and wants to argue their case. It’s a bit like if you spent too much from your piggy bank and your parents said you had to do extra chores to make up for it! 🏆⚽

Kind of depends who we have in charge and how we want to play. His shot stopping and command of his box definitely seem good enough… but his kicking in say an Enzo team would be a problem. All in I’m hoping he starts next season (assuming Mads goes, which last season seemed a shoe in, his stock has fallen this year).

Thats sad to hear. Incompetent at his job maybe, but shouldn’t be made to live in fear because of it.

Still not entirely sure what his best position is tbh. Feel as a top winger you need to have either (or ideally all!) pace, ability to beat a man, crossing (although less so these days) and finishing. His main attributes seem to be work rate and coming into the box to finish. Could he be a better RWB or even an 8?

When the season post mortem begins, the records will show that Ayew wasn’t the reason we went down. Never excited to see him on the pitch, but more often than not he contributes something.

Blows my mind that anyone would want him here next year. The Championship is a long hard battle and this guys teams roll over to have their tummy tickled at the first sign of adversity. Unless he spends the summer doing the Bill & Teds time travel trick to learn how to be a good manager, he’s got to go.

If Rogers > Smith > Enzo > Cooper > RvN > Dyche doesn’t tell us we have no clear footballing blueprint (I’m looking at you DoF) then nothing will!

One is an all time club legend on the brink of a historic 200 goals, the other a promising 15 year old who will probably sign his first pro contract elsewhere. Not even a question really!
