Dunno, the team currently playing feels like the B team/those looking to leave to me.

Personally I'm all for the double match approach. It means twice the number of players get 60-90mins match fitness, get to play the tactics live, show the manager what they can do and push for a starting spot. It's obviously not ideal for creating partnerships on the pitch but you'd assume one team today will be close to the WIP starting XI for Sheff Weds.

Thought he’d made about 5 appearances last season… he made 28!! 🤯 Not sure how many minutes that was but I can’t remember a single one of them.

One thing Ndidi does offer us is a bit of physical presence. We’ve lost Vardy as well who was surprisingly good at defending corners, if he does go it’d be good to get some power and athleticism as an option in the middle of the park. Good technique and passing is one thing, just think there’ll be games we need to match other teams physicality.

The way I see it, he’s going to play 30+ games for us this season so may as well get behind him and hope for the best!

Oh I know and maybe my expectations of him are just low. But his movement, pressing, link up play and control have all looked decent for him. I’m (naively) optimistic!

Was just thinking how well he’s played! His link up play and control has been as good as I’ve seen from him. Needs a bloody goal though!

If Bilal stays, and Daka finds a purple patch, and we land on a CB pairing, and our youngsters develop, and our full backs stay fit, and Fatawu and Mav hit form and Monga plays… this season could be amazing!! 🤩

I’d expect Hamza to be inverting to make the double pivot slot inside Winks, so Skipp will pushed forward more. Sort of a 3-2-2-3 formation with Skipp providing a high press. All guesswork really!

Ignoring his fee, he had a very successful season in the Championship with Norwich. Given the PSR implications of moving him on, I’d expect him to be a key player for us this season.

Pre-season so still more about fitness. But that looks like a very Enzo line up; Choudruy inverting from RB, Winks as the pivot, Skipp and BEK as 8s. Let’s see how it plays!

He’s another one along with Vesty, Winks, JJ, Wilf, maybe Mavididi and probably Skipp who we know will be a cut above in the Championship but not quite good Prem standard. If he goes for a decent fee and we move his wages on then great, if he stays and plays this season then also great imo.
