Steve_Guppy_Left_Foot Posted 5 April 2015 Posted 5 April 2015 Noticed under the big telly (opposite family stand) a fella with a red jacket on being led down the stairs with about a dozen St Johns folk, just wandering/hoping whoever it was is alright?
Benguin Posted 5 April 2015 Posted 5 April 2015 Saw this too, it looked as though someone had got quite lively and fell down a couple of rows, I was quite far away though so I'm not sure. Hope they're okay regardless.
SomalianFox15 Posted 5 April 2015 Posted 5 April 2015 It looked like he had passed out from where I was.
Unabomber Posted 5 April 2015 Posted 5 April 2015 When we scored? Maybe he was overcome by genuine shock.
elangLCFC Posted 5 April 2015 Posted 5 April 2015 My mum is a nurse and she went over to help the guy after he'd collapsed, apparently he'd had a very violent seizure but he was taken out of the stands and was conscious and talking to medical staff before the end of the match. Was quite disappointed with how long it took the medical crews to reach the scene, if it was a heart attack then he'd be lucky to be alive with their response time.

Fingers crossed he's okay.
Zed4q Posted 5 April 2015 Posted 5 April 2015 Was sat a few rows back. It was a very violent seizure the unfortunate guy was having, and it took what felt like an age for the medical team to appear. Big credit to the 100 or so supporters around that area who were screaming down to the stewards and medic team to get there attention. Even Sk1 who were in full voice at the time were stunned and were quiet for those couple of minutes.
Sol thewall Bamba Posted 5 April 2015 Posted 5 April 2015 Paramedic's response time was awful, people screaming at them to get up there and they were just stood at the bottom of the stairs, when they finally got a move on they were just walking up the stairs. People not getting out of the way didn't help either. Poor all round and a bit bizarre really. Hope the guy's OK.
Foxes1 Posted 5 April 2015 Posted 5 April 2015 I have a season ticket near there the problem was the medical staff went the wrong side of the railings that separate one side from the other and had to climb over them. Hope the lad is OK. and like the others have said they were extremely slow.
Kitchandro Posted 5 April 2015 Posted 5 April 2015 I've got no idea what land the medic was living in. It was blatantly obvious everyone was waving him up higher yet he seemed to not have a clue. It was painful watching the fat nob take about 2 minutes to get to the right row.
davieG Posted 5 April 2015 Posted 5 April 2015 Most of the medics and those attending the situation that passed by me didn't look like they could get that far up without needed medical attention themselves. I admire them for their voluntary work but it looks like they could do with some younger ones to help them.
Soar Fox Posted 5 April 2015 Posted 5 April 2015 Saw the lad outside the ground after the game he looked fine little cut on his nose. I thought the paramedics helping him needed help by the time they got to him.
sly1 Posted 5 April 2015 Posted 5 April 2015 Sorry but the medical staff were far too slow getting to him
JIMMYWILLIS Posted 5 April 2015 Posted 5 April 2015 He came to sit in the rows in front of me in sk1 about 25 mins later. Didn't look great but obviously well enough to stay
Countesthorpe Fox 1884 Posted 5 April 2015 Posted 5 April 2015 As sol the wall bamba said the paramedics were walking up the stairs, very worrying if they're the best that leicester have got, I shouted at them and a few others to run but they weren't having any of it, shocking really
theessexfox Posted 5 April 2015 Posted 5 April 2015 I'm not defending their apparent speed but you're definitely not meant to run.

harpendenfox Posted 6 April 2015 Posted 6 April 2015 I sit to the right of the incident so could see there was concern without seeing what was going on. I gather the man had a seizure and he's ok. My son has epilepsy so I've unfortunately seen thousands of seizures. Happily virtually all of th do not require medical assistance and will end without intervention within a minute or two. Only call an ambulance if it lasts 5 minutes. Don't try and move the individual having the seizure. Simply try and protect them from banging into anything if you can. When the seizure stops the person is liable to be disoriented and tired. It will pass. Just keep them company. Most of you will never witness a seizure in your life. Others perhaps once or twice like at a public gathering on a train etc. It is scary but keep calm, try to keep the person safe from banging into stuff, and it will stop. Hope that helps
The Longstop Posted 6 April 2015 Posted 6 April 2015 Any see or know about the incident outside L Block with the Leicester fan flat out and police / medics surrounded? As fans were beckoning the police over to help a few thought it was happening with West Ham but wasn't that, apparently the guy just went down out the blue. A couple of West Ham did take a slap outside Half Time Orange but par for the course.

Apparently went into town after. Fair play to him if he did

And a 3rd mate has just been put on medication after suffering a 2nd bad for in the last 4 months. Shit maybe it's just me. Sorry rich if you read this
