Teams that mathematically can't catch us

Nearly there now, one more massive performance to pick up 3 points and we've done it! Still no time to get complacent, there's still 180 minutes of football to be played but if we continue as we have done we can be quietly confident we can tie this up next weekend.

There's 3 goal diff with Hull. They would need 4 if you count the fact we have more goals.

So Hull could only need to win one match 2-0 (lose the other 1-0) and we lose by 4 goals over the two games for us to go below them.

Until it's no longer possible for 3 teams to catch us I will still be a nervous wreck. 3 points next weekend would be a nice remedy for that!

Hull have been dropped right in it today.

I think they're down, but I do think they'll walk the league next season.

IF Hull go down as the third relegated side alongside QPR and Burnley and we manage to survive, it'll make for an interesting table next season.

Bournemouth and Watford up and one out of Ipswich, Brentford, Middlesbrough or Norwich.

You're looking at playing at least one, potentially two minnows in 2015/2016.

I know it's rather far-fatched as this campaign's not over yet, but I see increased chances of yet a third straight season in the Premier League.

Hull have shot themselves in the foot here. The Burnley result was a bad one for them.

BUT I can see them beating Spurs who currently are rubbish.

I think it's still close.

It'll be tough for them, but I can definitely see them getting a point at WHL and possibly even nicking some points against United. Hopefully it won't affect us.

Being on the beach away from home is one thing being not up for your last game of the season at home is another, Spurs, Soton and QPR will all be up for it next weekend. Personally I only place Villa in it as I would like to see us go above them but Newcastle and Hull are not pulling up any trees at the moment, Newcastle had to cut short their holidays and 1pt in 8 matches is no great form to take to anywhere, Hull before the bank holiday weekend were sitting pretty better GD and points ahead of those below them, on the back of a couple of wins with 2 home games to look forward to including one against bottom club Burnley, well Arsenal won at a canter and it could have been 5 or 6 and by all accounts they were woeful yesterday.

Cannot see them winning another game and Newcastle will not be looking forward to Big Sam going back their on the last day of the season. Our destiny is in our own hands with 2 games remaining, look at those around us and would you swop fixtures or teams. Sunderland have won 2 but are nothing special and if they play like they did yesterday against us we should beat them and I cannot see Arsenal or Chelsea being as wasteful. Yesterday again we did what we had to do, Chelsea would have been proud of our performance yesterday we scored our 2 goals and then just played the game out, Soton for all their possession did nothing, they were not poor we were just very well disciplined and professional.

Sunderland might even see a point next week as a good result in a game we do not have to win. The season is a marathon over 38 games and it looks like NP and his team have paced themselves perfectly.

I wouldn't be so sure.

A lot of people would have said the same looking at Fulham's squad this season, but they finished nowhere.

Let's not forget that we were an anomaly last season, 100 plus points tally have only occurred a handful of times.

Derby

Forest

It'd be nice to lord it over them in one of the cups next season.

Was also discussing this last night in the boozer.... (Yes, I know )

IF we now do go down it will be an absolute killer...

Going down having expected it, and being resigned to it is one thing.

Going down NOW, would be something completely different.

It would be awful.

Let's go to Sunderland, win, and end this thing.
