Richard Posted 18 May 2015 Posted 18 May 2015 He seems to be hated by large parts of the country so can't imagine anybody will want him. Allardyce will be above him in any team looking for a new managers list
Al-aLondon-Foxile Posted 18 May 2015 Posted 18 May 2015 I think we're a good fit for each other. He doesn't seek the spotlight, which a bigger club would ultimately see him having to deal with. He is clearly an old school type, one that values integrity and conduct, and i think the owners have behaved with great honor with regards his position this year. They stood by him when many wouldn't and didn't, they've supported him financially too, and i really don't see him being tempted to find any other position right now.

At least one of them didn't, but by all accounts he got isolated to a monastery for it
ramboacdc Posted 18 May 2015 Posted 18 May 2015 nah...too volitle at other places. he calls someone an ostritch of pins another player to the floor they may actually discipline him! he will stay until the end.
thybluefox Posted 18 May 2015 Posted 18 May 2015 This is now Nigel's club, faults and all. And he can take this club (within reason) as far as he wants to. I see no reason for him to want to leave. One thing about him is that I can't remember the last time we had such a tight team unit, with every player giving their all for every player, member of staff, and fan. Even during the slump in results, they didn't give in. You can't buy that kind of loyalty.
Guest Posted 18 May 2015 Posted 18 May 2015 NP loves this group of players - they are his. He won't easily leave that. And when did West Ham become a "big club"?
Guest Posted 18 May 2015 Posted 18 May 2015 I think the only 2 clubs he'd be interested in (apart from the REAL big clubs) are Sheffield and Middlesboro. As the first are not in the prem and the second certianly not looking I wouldn't worry.
Sir Shep Posted 18 May 2015 Posted 18 May 2015 There are bigger clubs than us but they don't tend to like English managers! As for the rest, let's face it we have money if he wants it so ambition wise I can't see him being tempted by another club.
Russell sprout Posted 18 May 2015 Posted 18 May 2015 The owners have stuck with him wen 99.9% of owners would of sacked him, now it's time to repay the loyalty Does that include you jigs
desertfox2 Posted 19 May 2015 Posted 19 May 2015 really West Ham, they want some bigger name than Nigel tbh...they made a move from Klopp(he said no me lord)....& hear rumours they are trying to Benetiz Yeah but who they want and who they get are 2 different things. Yes they have the new stadium going for them but I still can't see them having a chance of getting either klopp or benitez
