weller54 Posted 17 May 2015 Posted 17 May 2015 ..he's in line to perhaps getting Manager of the year.. His stock has certainly risen... If the likes of West Ham for example, were interested in him I wonder if he'd be tempted?
Unabomber Posted 17 May 2015 Posted 17 May 2015 Discussing our great escape on talksport soon Thanks gonna listen.
Guest seanfox778 Posted 17 May 2015 Posted 17 May 2015 I hope not, I think he really likes the way this club is run and i get the impression that he likes working here. The owners seem to be willing to back him too (apart from that little mishap in Feb). I don't think he'd have the freedom he has under West Ham or newcastles owners.

If the likes of West Ham for example, were interested in him I wonder if he'd be tempted? West Ham wouldn't get rid of fat Sam for Pearson. Not in a million years. I think we have a fair amount of potential and ambitious owners, if he thinks we can still make a decent amount of progress then unless it was a really big team then he'd stay.
Master Fox Posted 17 May 2015 Posted 17 May 2015 Either England manager or our manager. Nigel as England manager? Are you daft? Why in gods name would he do that? With all the media coverage/interviews. Not a chance.

Danizen Posted 17 May 2015 Posted 17 May 2015 No chance! You need the media onside to get a big job in this country! Dyche is more likely to get a big job than Pearson is just because of his heeeeeeeeeelarious soundbites in interviews...

Fat Sam is on his way though!!!
Guest LCFC_World Posted 17 May 2015 Posted 17 May 2015 Discussing our great escape on talksport soon What time will this be on?
ScouseFox Posted 17 May 2015 Posted 17 May 2015 I had a dream he managed us and England at the same time. Just sayin.
TrentFox Posted 17 May 2015 Posted 17 May 2015 Despite the Ashley factor, I have a fear that Newcastle may tempt him in the coming weeks if they survive. Whether he tempts them, who knows.
Merging Cultures Posted 17 May 2015 Posted 17 May 2015 NP has it very good here. He isn't going anywhere.
The Horse's Mouth Posted 17 May 2015 Posted 17 May 2015 I think his conduct with the media would put a lot of the so called "big boys" off.
One Legged Beaver Posted 17 May 2015 Posted 17 May 2015 Hopefully our slump and how he is perceived in the media will be enough to dissuade team from touching him!
GloverFox Posted 17 May 2015 Posted 17 May 2015 ... Oh I so totally agree with 'we have potential and the owners back him' line ... we have a massive potential with the current owners attitude and respect for Nigel's abilities and their own non-interfering, but total commitment to the club. It is in Nigel's own destiny if he wants to take this club forward and build his empire at Leicester and there are plenty of examples out there of managers being seduced by the so-called 'bigger club' that then struggle to regain the reputation hard earned at a former club.
lestajigs Posted 17 May 2015 Posted 17 May 2015 The owners have stuck with him wen 99.9% of owners would of sacked him, now it's time to repay the loyalty
TheMightySystem Posted 17 May 2015 Posted 17 May 2015 Despite the Ashley factor, I have a fear that Newcastle may tempt him in the coming weeks if they survive. Whether he tempts them, who knows. Tbf it sounds like Newcastle only want a manager that will do what Ashley says without question so Pearson defo out the question
4everfox Posted 17 May 2015 Posted 17 May 2015 The only way Pearson will leave is if he is sacked or resigns at the end of the season, otherwise he will be our manager next season. If it doesn't work out and he's sacked next season his next job will be in the Championship.
midland_red Posted 17 May 2015 Posted 17 May 2015 I would seriosuly doubt Pearson will leave or be tempted away. For one this he has his inner demons to fight and conquer, up from the championship when he found the right formula, survival in the prem, again after he found the right forumla. For another the owners seem ideal football club owners; they are ambitious but careful, and you never hear of them, they obviously let Pearson get on with the job. Could you imagine working for someone like MIke Ashley (And as someone somewhere said, if you went there he'd probably only offer a zero hours contract for a couple of hours on match day)
