As shocking as it was the actual act wasn't the most horrific thing about it, it was watching the sheer delight and enjoyment the perpetrators got out of it, huge smiles whilst laughing and filming it happen. That Ukranian air show disaster footage. Absolutely horrific. Never saw the Cheggars nob-out, wasn't it a quiz show he hosted though? It was some weird nude assault course gameshow from memory, I remember switching it on and just seeing Cheggers there in the nude and wondering what the hell was going on.

The way they were able to do it without any emotion whatsoever was sickening.

Whether they are banned or not, apart from the sick nature of choosing to watch someone die, the whole point of the beheading video and such like is to spread fear and terror so by watching it you are giving the terrorists what they want.

I watch it because to believe humanity can be that sickening I want to see it with my own eyes, I'm also of the firm belief if more people actually watched these things and saw the brutality of it themselves we'd be more inclined to want to do something about it.

I think we discussed it in the thread at the time but the pictures of children strapped into aircraft seats in the middle of fields, combined with the footage of people picking through the wreckage and remains was truly sickening. Kept me awake at night, that did.

ramboacdc Posted 29 May 2015 Posted 29 May 2015 I watch it because to believe humanity can be that sickening I want to see it with my own eyes, I'm also of the firm belief if more people actually watched these things and saw the brutality of it themselves we'd be more inclined to want to do something about it. this guy has said it better than i ever could. i do avoid them now, i know where i can get hold of them but ive grown up since then (the ken bigley one i was 16 i think.) don't watch it for any reason of enjoying it. but it does make you realize how ****ed up some people can be and what some people will do. theres some shit ive seen in the world at war that i wish i hadn't but its history...sadly.
