MPH Posted 20 July 2015 Posted 20 July 2015 Love Starbucks... Off topic... Coffee granuals make an excellent composting material... At starbucks you can ask them if they have any used coiffee granuals for your compost bin and they give you a 5lb bag for free. Less waste going to the tip and i get some great compost for my veggie garden , blueberry bushes and fig tree. Bish bosh everyones happy.
Finnaldo Posted 20 July 2015 Posted 20 July 2015 Coffee is dirt, I drink tea like the higher nobility I am. Yorkshire Tea that is, me duck

Buzzell Posted 20 July 2015 Posted 20 July 2015 rob1234 is one of me fave posters. Along with Matt, wymsey, leicesterpool and buzzer_b (who is far too quiet nowadays!) I also drink the odd Costa vanilla latte from the machines in shell garages when I'm travelling for work. I'm not one of these pricks that instas a costa or Starbucks though. Think I instag'd a bag of Starbucks coffee beans once being ironic Sorry Syston. To make it up to you, I give you this. Two of my favorite things, coffee and Chebs. Enjoy.
lavrentis Posted 20 July 2015 Posted 20 July 2015 London has changed Lav, he used to want to vote for ukip The problem isn't immigrants. lmao gay tru but wgaf
z-layrex Posted 20 July 2015 Posted 20 July 2015 They're both putrid if you have any respect for coffee.
MPH Posted 20 July 2015 Posted 20 July 2015 Stare unto me peasant, from upon thy tea high horse I actually like roasting my own coffee... you can buy green coffee beans if you know the right people. And you know those electric paint strippers that burn the paint off, well you can use those to roast the cofee. Remember- you need two cracks for the best tasting coffee!!! Stick that on your tea horse and ride it!

I won't be impressed until you crouch around the Amazon in your authentic Amazonian Tribesman loincloth picking the wild Coffee beans you cheeky coffee hipster
MPH Posted 20 July 2015 Posted 20 July 2015 They're both putrid if you have any respect for coffee. Time and a place for everything..... I'd never touch maryland chicken 90% of the time... but that other 10%... its beautiful...
MPH Posted 20 July 2015 Posted 20 July 2015 I won't be impressed until you crouch around the Amazon in your authentic Amazonian Tribesman loincloth picking the wild Coffee beans you cheeky coffee hipster Prefer nicaraguan... And my wife was sick the day we were supposed to go to the coffee plantation! ( we really have been to nicaragua!)
Finnaldo Posted 20 July 2015 Posted 20 July 2015 Prefer nicaraguan... And my wife was sick the day we were supposed to go to the coffee plantation! ( we really have been to nicaragua!) fair enough, to be honest I can see the appeal in the higher quality coffees, but I've never been a massive fan although I do admit when I have to be up early or doing stuff late (used to work in a bar 10pm-4am) I'd normally have two coffees within an hour before- couldn't stomach with milk and sugar like I do with tea, so I just have it black, which I find ten times more appealing than with other shite put in it
z-layrex Posted 20 July 2015 Posted 20 July 2015 Time and a place for everything..... I'd never touch maryland chicken 90% of the time... but that other 10%... its beautiful... Ok well Costa if nothing else available! To be fair I'd kill for a Costa at work as the coffee is awful. Must be the only NHS hospital in London without one in the lobby... I actually bought a Starbucks the other day, it was really terrible. I don't understand why it takes them so long to make it. One tip a friend told me is always say taking away so you get a paper cup as the mugs are not washed properly, at at his Costa in London they even have rats in the cupboards where they're kept.
Samilktray Posted 20 July 2015 Posted 20 July 2015 Pretty sure they wouldn't have rats. Food safety would have picked up on that at some point.
lavrentis Posted 20 July 2015 Posted 20 July 2015 I have a Costa on the floor below where I work. The cappuccino is the only thing I can tolerate from there.
adam1 Posted 20 July 2015 Posted 20 July 2015 Costa coffee makes me feel ill. Headachey. I also drink Taylors Hot Lava Java (strength 6) so it's not like I can't handle coffee.
z-layrex Posted 20 July 2015 Posted 20 July 2015 Pretty sure they wouldn't have rats. Food safety would have picked up on that at some point. you don't know London. They're everywhere.
reynard Posted 20 July 2015 Posted 20 July 2015 Whilst Starbucks continues to have some issues with tax and is currently under investigation by the European Commission for so-called "sweetner" deals in Holland I wouldn't use it. None of it is of course technically illegal. I try to use local businesses.
Jattdogg Posted 21 July 2015 Posted 21 July 2015 Tim hortons in canada???? Im not a coffee buff. To me as long as it tastes like coffee I will drink it ince in a while. Prefer my english tea or chai. I do have a small coffee pot maker at home and prefer to try random brands of coffee. Always tastes better than starbucks or costa etc.
