Nalis Posted 24 July 2015 Posted 24 July 2015 But if those having a tantrum, those not having a tantrum, those deflated and those content for now but open to a tantrum all have their own thread then there'll be no debates as they'll just be agreeing with one another. Bit boring.
HitchinFox Posted 24 July 2015 Posted 24 July 2015 for the clever idiots, I moved to Huddersfield for work when I was made redundant but it didn't stop going down the M1 week in week out when I had a season ticket. Plastic ! you haven't a clue how far I have travelled to see the team I have supported since I was a child.
Izzy Posted 24 July 2015 Posted 24 July 2015 I would LOVE IT if someone could explain to me the definition of a 'plastic'. It seems like a relatively new term but I hear it regularly mentioned now. So for example, if you've followed your club for 40 years, travelled home and away for most of them but now don't go to games (for whatever reason), are you now a 'plastic'? Just curious...

Izzy Posted 24 July 2015 Posted 24 July 2015 Such a plastic post. walked right into that one I guess..

Such a plastic post. O.K, done my research and Googled it. Seems a 'plastic' is similar to what we used to call 'glory hunters'. What a w@nk expression. Wonder where it came from....

Plastic is a material consisting of any of a wide range of synthetic or semi-synthetic organics that are malleable and can be molded into solid objects of diverse shapes. Plastics are typically organic polymers of high molecular mass, but they often contain other substances. They are usually synthetic, most commonly derived from petrochemicals, but many are partially natural.

Stadt Posted 24 July 2015 Posted 24 July 2015 4. Still having Cambiasso as your profile pic yeah why would anyone have a picture of somebody not at the club anymore?
Nalis Posted 25 July 2015 Posted 25 July 2015 yeah why would anyone have a picture of somebody not at the club anymore? Exactly, what a jerk.
MC Prussian Posted 25 July 2015 Posted 25 July 2015 I can't make my mind up - tantrums or doldrums? Which way is the way forward?
gerrytaggart Posted 25 July 2015 Posted 25 July 2015 I can't make my mind up - tantrums or doldrums? Which way is the way forward? Phantom dolphins
Fox 4 Life Posted 25 July 2015 Posted 25 July 2015 If reports are true that Mendy also rejected the chance of playing for us then it really is getting worrying. That is 5 (including cambiasso) midfielders that we have approached and been turned down. Maybe we need to lower the expectation of the type of player we can attract.
city187 Posted 25 July 2015 Posted 25 July 2015 City fans love a good old moan tho. Even if we won the league there would have to be somthing negative to say. Would be to boring for most if not. We were in league one not long ago and now with prem football and owners looking to invest millions on players and a high profile manager we have the most negative sounding fans ever. Pearson and Cambiasso gone means mental meltdown for alot
Jace Posted 25 July 2015 Posted 25 July 2015 Has any team ever stayed up without having a centre midfield before?
city187 Posted 25 July 2015 Posted 25 July 2015 Has any team ever stayed up without having a centre midfield before? Wimbledon never needed one missed it out with long ball game anyway...

The big thing here is "if reports are true"

thursday_next Posted 25 July 2015 Posted 25 July 2015 I went through the whole of last season being confident we would escape relegation, except immediately after Hull at home. Then I managed to pull myself together with a couple of sharp slaps to my face, saying 'It ain't over till it's over'..... Right at the moment I see panic as the only available option. I am aware that there are others who don't see it that way. I am happy with panic, though.
Jace Posted 25 July 2015 Posted 25 July 2015 I was more confident at Christmas last year than I am this season now
glen parva fox Posted 25 July 2015 Posted 25 July 2015 I have no confidence this season, alls I see are divided supporters and a lot of aggro when results are poor
