I quite liked Matt Le Blanc on the last series but I don't think he's got it in him to be the main man. He's more of a sidekick.

I watched the new episode and thought it wasn't too bad at all.

Think Harris and Reid work really well together.

I thought the filmed scenes were good though the studio script links and banter needs work - maybe they'll relax into it as time goes on.

That car crash happened on Thursday.

I imagine it will but I hope it doesn't delay the next series.

I really liked The Grand Tour. They just need to improve the in-studio gags. Celebrity Brain Crash was ****ing dreadfu.

That's what we and the police refer to as TFF, Too ****ing Fast.

Either he hadn't driven the route before or he didn't anticipate the sharp left hander as he entered the shallow right hand curve at too fast a speed where he then had to to brake hard. The momentum and resulting understeer during braking threw the car far to the right and over the edge. He needs to realise he's not a racing driver. Not sure how he got out before the car caught fire though..

News reports say the UK TV crew (plus the three drivers) didn't inspect the route a day prior to the race and were thus too unfamiliar with the course.

Also, the accident happened in the post-race zone just after the finish - why he felt the need to accelerate when he should have simply slowed down remains Hammond's secret.

And keep in mind how dangerous it can be for the firefighters to handle such an overpowered electric car whose batteries need to cool down first - I think you need special equipment in order to avoid/counter the current.
