That's not really what the priority system was set up for so you could stay in the top category but not actually attend. Anyway each to their own and all that. If you pass on a ticket to someone else after finding out you can't go that's fine, but purchasing tickets when you have no intention of attending the match ought to be discouraged. Quite right, being in top priority and not going yourself isn't good for other fans wanting to go on their own accounts to build their numbers up. As for the person it concerns, yes I'm in the top priority but I wouldn't buy tickets to games I don't intend to go to. I missed three last season that I had tickets for as situations changed on two and one I was ill so emailed the first post I saw on the morning of the game.
