On a Monday night Sky 8.00 kick off, team shite and in bottom 3 all the way from Newcastle is poor? I don't think so!

At £36 a pop or whatever it aswell. Quite frankly those that travelled are a bit weird (I am fairly sure they weren't able to sell any further tickets following Rafa's appointment). Those suggesting we'd take any more in the same circumstance are completely deluded.

I thought it was good for most of the game on Sky - only heard them a couple of times, and then they were drowned out. For those of you lucky enough to be at the games, just enjoy these times and sing all game- remind yourself it is very probable that after we win the league , we can not repeat the feat ever again.

Well, it wasn't bad in the family stand and at times was pretty loud, but then then family stand in P1 near to the away stand always has more atmosphere than the kop.

lol I moved from the top of N block last season, it isn't half as good as it is at the top of SK1. I admit it would still be nice to be next to the away fans but it's 100% worth moving to SK1 if you think family stand is good. Edited by BradyLCFC

What is the absolute aversion people have about singing WYS?

I must admit I find it one of our most boring chants. Like when we sing it it just kills the mood. Just a shite tune imo

Loudest songs this season:

"We're Leicester City, we're top of the League"

"We shall not be moved"

"Leicester Leicester Leicester..."

"He came from Italy, to manage the City"

But lets not get dragged into a clapper vs non clapper argument again...

Loudest last night was 'Down with the Villa' - another example.

I am more than happy for the clappers to stay for the rest of this season but for superstition purposes only. Once we've sewn the title up the first job before we organise the open top bus parade will be to cut ties with the clap banner provider and give them the number to Hull or Reading.

The only I song I cant make out that I hear every game is the one sung to the same tune as "Fook off Adam Johnson, your going down for noncing...

Any help?

I'm putting on my tin hat in preparation for the barrage of stick I'll get for this but I think the clappers should be in the West stand and the Family stand only. Would let more natural periods of singing build in the Kop and down to L1 and people who are historically more passive can continue being involved by using their clapper.

Come on Leicester Boys

Make some fooking noise

We go wild wild wild,

We go wild wild wild....

Agreed on this. They are just a boring, constant drone of nothingness. Soulless almost.

Wouldn't even say that because what I mean about them not working anymore is less and less people are using them.

Now for or against them (I'm not bothered by them either way, I don't use them, I use my hands) they did work, but people have got used to them and got lazy again, thus stopped using them imo.

Thanks!!  Sometime's on the NBC app on my Apple TV they have replays of the game from a bird's eye view (they call it the tactical cam) and there are no announcers.  So all you can hear is the crowd and the occasional boot of a football.  It really helped me learn all the chants, and I get to annoy my girl with them while I am watching the game.

I have say that from my stream the singing was f 'in awesome. Now the KP has a lot more "new" supporters who were expecting to watch some sort of total attacking football euphoria and were not getting what they wanted so perhaps fell quiet. So instead of just general noise you boys came across word clear, in tune and in tempo and were loudest when we were on the back foot.

Actually had this exact thought last night at the game. As i currently have the pleasure of sitting in the west stand the majority (not all) will not join in with any or many chants throughout a game. So the clappers can only really help there. In other areas i can see them being a hindrance causing people to be out of time plus i think it prevents L1 and the kop from linking up together during the game.

Even Adrian Durham from talksport said our atmosphere was poor considering we are top of the league.

Not like Adrian Durham to say something contrary.

Adrian Durham says whatever for a reaction. He isn't always wrong though.

There is not a single excuse for us having a bad atmosphere home or away. These are our halcyon days.

1,334. Poor really.

Don't agree. They're atrocious away from home (17 defeats in 20 away games before yesterday), the most inconvenient kick off time of the lot, probably £36 a ticket and a 7/8 hour round trip. I'd be proud if we took those numbers there in those circumstances.

I spoke to a Newcastle fan on Monday night after the game and he said he's done around 24/25 PL away games since 2006 (lives in Leicester so no priority and struggles to get tickets) and hasn't seen them win once. lol

That's their 9th consecutive away game on MNF too. Lost them all. Absolute bullshit that they should all be away - blatantly obvious Sky cba to travel all the way up there in midweek.

Quite possibly the best away end I have ever been in. That sit-in post match was incredible -reminded me of Burnley away in the promotion season when you just knew it was going to be our year!

If anyone has videos of the post match scenes would love to see them

I'm assuming that everyone was kept in? Or did our fans stay behind by choice?

Whichever it was from what other fans have said that went to the game it sounded like today's atmosphere was up there with some of the best away atmospheres of recent times.
