EnglishOxide Posted 19 August 2015 Posted 19 August 2015 Surely ours is amongst the best in the country? I can't remember the last time we had a player out as a result of training. The only 2 players in recent times who actually got injured in a match are Matty James and was it Andy King in the Chelsea game? I know Huth went off but that was just precautionary. When you think of a club like Arsenal which should have world class facilities, yet get about 3 or 4 plus long term injuries a season, is it fair to say our coaching/medical staff are outperforming them?
Charl91 Posted 19 August 2015 Posted 19 August 2015 I think a lot of injuries are just down to bad luck, to be honest. Let's not tempt fate.
stripeyfox Posted 19 August 2015 Posted 19 August 2015 This is only going to end badly.... one of our new signings stretchered off at the weekend.
VLC86 Posted 19 August 2015 Posted 19 August 2015 Can someone call Neutrino and get him to take his mate home.
filbertstreet Posted 19 August 2015 Posted 19 August 2015 Yeah not half bad http://www.physioroom.com/news/english_premier_league/epl_injury_table.php
cc_star Posted 19 August 2015 Posted 19 August 2015 Credit must go to the structure & approach of the previous management & hopefull that continues with this management structure A lot of it down to well researched signings, training methods and stuff. Luck isn't much to do with it.... as far as non-impact injuries go
Basingstoke Fox Posted 19 August 2015 Posted 19 August 2015 This thread made me go and have a read through some of this old classic again. http://www.foxestalk.co.uk/forums/topic/79557-my-mate-is-the-ref-tonight/
DennisNedry Posted 19 August 2015 Posted 19 August 2015 Got to laugh at the people who actually think saying something like this may actually make an injury more likely to happen. Don't forget to touch wood and throw some salt over your shoulder at the next opportunity guys.

We have been pretty fortunate with injuries over the last few seasons. I think it is well known the sports science and medical teams at Leicester are top notch and hopefully this makes a big contribution to maintaining a fit squad.
