Arsenal pre-match thread

Given our great start, this game is an opportunity to attack rather than try to hold onto a point.

I'll be disappointed if Ranieri sets out defensive or the players go into their shells.

On Twitter Sky Sport News are giving stats for Ranaieri record v Arsenal when at Chelsea. I replied 'You do know Arsenal are not playing Chelsea today?;

Another Tweet said Arsenal and Wales had better win or I'll never hear the last of it. I retweeted with come on you Foxes.

It is a nice change to be able to say today's game can go either way and we have a chance of winning. But I will stick with 1-1

Pretty sure It'll be:

Kasper

Delaet Huth Morgan Schlupp

Albrighton Drinky Kante Mahrez

Okazaki Vardy

Fuchs, Inler, King and Ulloa all played 2 hours on Tuesday. Can't see CR starting any of these, although I think they all played well. (And Benny)

This could well be our first defeat but equally we could win it. I think our defence is very poor though and I can't see us keeping a clean sheet. We need to really close them down and give them no time on the ball. if we sit off them as we have with other sides this season they could be out of sight by half time.

Kante has to start for me.

What's wrong with that?

It's just odd to see someone want to make big changes in how we set up when we've been playing so well. Why fix something that isn't broken, light changes only surely?

Arsenal are a completely different side to anything our system has played so far. They play technically solid football through the middle. We need to control the middle without loosing our pace down the wings.

3-5-1-1 allows us to have more control in the middle but also Bomb up the other end and score.

Hungryhungryfox Mahrez not as a striker but as a free role. Essentially cover wings and midfield but have freedom to do whatever he pleases
