promised land Posted 26 October 2015 Posted 26 October 2015 Not at £35 a ticket, where's this you charge 25 and we will charge 25 thing gone.
ramboacdc Posted 26 October 2015 Posted 26 October 2015 checking train tickets now! if its like newcastle i will cry! £76! and 5 hours on the train!
Bayfox Posted 26 October 2015 Author Posted 26 October 2015 Not at £35 a ticket, where's this you charge 25 and we will charge 25 thing gone. Wasn't it meant to be £35 last year and the club used the £200k fund to help reduce it, some of that has already gone on Norwich. Not that I want to get in a big argument about it, but all this we need to expand as we are selling out, but may only take 1030 to Swansea doesn't exactly bode well, if we are still around the top 6 at the start of Dec our fans really should be up for going to any game.
Bayfox Posted 26 October 2015 Author Posted 26 October 2015 checking train tickets now! if its like newcastle i will cry! £76! and 5 hours on the train! Nice. I may look at trains from Cheltenham and ask a mate if I can crash, it's the only current top flight ground I haven't been to and my birthday weekend, night out in Cheltenham it is then. £21 quid there, £17.50 on way back. Still 2hrs 30mins tho, train must be a right shit house that stops at every village on the way through.
Voll Blau Posted 26 October 2015 Posted 26 October 2015 Not a fan of those prices given how far away it is, but well up for it. Easy reference points for everyone here.
ollielcfc Posted 26 October 2015 Posted 26 October 2015 Not around that weekend so have two P1 adult references available if anyone wants them.

Have to check with last years ticket but you could be right, it was an awful came too . Still, I'll be there again this time.
CharlieCharles Posted 26 October 2015 Posted 26 October 2015 1,000 is surely ridiculous... that will sell out in the first 2 days?
Sol thewall Bamba Posted 26 October 2015 Posted 26 October 2015 1,000 is surely ridiculous... that will sell out in the first 2 days? No chance!
Bayfox Posted 26 October 2015 Author Posted 26 October 2015 1,000 is surely ridiculous... that will sell out in the first 2 days? Can't see it myself. And if sales are slow the club won't risk taking the 2nd batch and being stuck with them.
CharlieCharles Posted 26 October 2015 Posted 26 October 2015 Can't see it myself. And if sales are slow the club won't risk taking the 2nd batch and being stuck with them. We had 1,200 tickets to Bournemouth (long distance as well) and that sold out in 8 hours. Im hoping we take the full lot.
Bayfox Posted 26 October 2015 Author Posted 26 October 2015 We had 1,200 tickets to Bournemouth (long distance as well) and that sold out in 8 hours. Im hoping we take the full lot.In the summer. Bank holiday weekend. Anyone else think that was more appealing? And it didn't sell out in 8 hours as I got 2 off the last 10 tickets when it hit p2 so after about 3 days.Hope you are right but seems very cautious from the club. I guess for a reason. You can get to Bournemouth quicker than swansea by train or car.
ollielcfc Posted 26 October 2015 Posted 26 October 2015 Not around that weekend so have two P1 adult references available if anyone wants them. These have gone to lcfcfoz now, so no longer available.

Father Ted Posted 26 October 2015 Posted 26 October 2015 What's Swansea nightlife like? Tempted to stay over if I'm going to do this

Novelty factor with Bournemouth, new to Premier league but we had played them 2 seasons prior. Still summer and bank holiday weekend and a coastal club. Swansea is a long haul to get too, but from club to club hardly 10 miles between going to Swansea, going to Southampton or going to Newcastle. Just not a very good drive.
