MC Prussian Posted 16 December 2015 Posted 16 December 2015 https://streamable.com/8k2p Try not to get goosebumps watching this. What a season! Is it just me or can you hear Mahrez at the end of goal No. 15 shouting "I love you!" in the direction of Vardy?
sylofox Posted 16 December 2015 Posted 16 December 2015 Once was a keeper with seaman on the back of his shirt. Vardy is a striker that could be covered lol
lgfualol Posted 17 December 2015 Posted 17 December 2015 He only scores when we're in blue. Let's just wear blue for the rest of the season.
C-man Posted 17 December 2015 Posted 17 December 2015 Assists for Vards: Albrighton 1 (Sunderland) Drinkwater 3 (Villa, Arsenal, WBA) Ulloa 2 (Arsenal, Newcastle) Dyer 1 (Soton) Mahrez 4 (Stoke, Soton, Palace, Chels) Fuchs 1 (Man United) Plus Kante and Morgan on demi-assists for Norwich and Watford pens. What a team.
bmt Posted 17 December 2015 Posted 17 December 2015 Brilliant!. Also THAT Fuchs pass. It gets better every time
kushiro Posted 2 January 2016 Posted 2 January 2016 Just wanted to bump this thread up top. Did this really happen? Possibly the best run of form of any player in the history of this club. And also one of the most exciting goals reels of any player in the PL era. I'm wondering which others might top it? Suarez 2013/14? Bale 2012/13? Bergkamp 1997/98? Ronaldo 2007/08? Henry - jeez. which was his peak season- or was it about five on the trot? Still wish he hadn't missed those chances at Swansea to equal Jimmy Dunne's all-time top flight record. Wonder what Dunne's goals reel would be like?
Nalis Posted 2 January 2016 Posted 2 January 2016 Without wanting to disrespect Dunne's record, his goal reel would be full of crap defending and goalkeeping I'd imagine given the era.

The other argument is that he would have been playing on worse pitches, and wouldn't have had the training/conditioning that professional players have now. I think they are hard to compare because of this, and so deserve to both be seen as equal achievements.

Can't remember where I saw it, but a while back they got 3 top German players and challenged them to a round of keepy-ups using an old leather ball and wearing 1940s boots. They could barely manage 10.
Aus Fox Posted 2 January 2016 Posted 2 January 2016 He only scores when we're in blue. Let's just wear blue for the rest of the season. It's ok, Shinji only scores in the black and White kits. And Kramaric only scores in Copenhagen.
