DJ Barry Hammond Posted 16 January 2016 Posted 16 January 2016 Have they sent us any of their jersey's yet?
LcFc_Smiv Posted 16 January 2016 Posted 16 January 2016 Put money on Panthers to win the superbowl before the season started, should have showed Leicester the same kind of faith! EDIT: Obviously not to win the Superbowl before some of our wittier posters pipe up!
Vlad the Fox Posted 16 January 2016 Posted 16 January 2016 I suggest we pool all the money the council has budgeted for bus and cycle lanes (roughly £2 trillion) and relocate Leicestershire and North/South Carolina to the centre of the Atlantic to form our own landmass alliance. No need for passports either, just flash your enamel badge. It could become a tax free haven, King power could set up a super duper mega duty free mall. People will be flocking from both sides of the Atlantic, we could all get rich and live like lords.
MPH Posted 16 January 2016 Posted 16 January 2016 Hahahahaha! I live in North Carolina. It's a special time and everyone is excited about the panthers game On Sunday. It's kind of like my two worlds clashing when I see a panthers player wearing a city top. Although I don't think they will appreciate the mercury article saying they are 'overachieving'
MPH Posted 16 January 2016 Posted 16 January 2016 As the only LCFC supporter I know of in Charlotte, this is absolutely wonderful. Hopefully Leicester City can become Charlotte's favored club out of this. There are some strong Arsenal, Liverpool, and Chelsea supporter groups here - and a rather large expat population from England, as well as considerable American interest in European football. Enough to support a couple bars that have a sizable morning crowd watching the Premier League, including one called Hooligans that is dedicated strictly to football (where I watch as many matches as I'm able) In 2014, Liverpool played AC Milan and in 2015 Chelsea vs PSG played at the Bank of America Stadium, home of the Carolina Panthers. I live 15 minutes from you. Plus there is smiffy who is a city fan too and he's in Charlotte.
MPH Posted 16 January 2016 Posted 16 January 2016 There's actually a few of us here in Charlotte. I think there's another 2 that post on here. Probably enough to start a supporters club before long. Aha. There you are!

It's kind of like my two worlds clashing when I see a panthers player wearing a city top. Although I don't think they will appreciate the mercury article saying they are 'overachieving' I think even the Panthers, who were always a solid team and I'm sure believed they were the best team in the NFC South before the season started, know deep down inside that finishing the season at 15-1 was just a tiny bit ridiculous
UPinCarolina Posted 16 January 2016 Posted 16 January 2016 There's actually a few of us here in Charlotte. I think there's another 2 that post on here. Probably enough to start a supporters club before long. That would be fantastic.
Brian123 Posted 16 March 2016 Posted 16 March 2016 Have they sent us any of their jersey's yet? did not receive the jersey yet, sadly :( :(
Sionnach gorm Posted 17 March 2016 Posted 17 March 2016 I am not a fan, but Leicester would be better off with an America Football team such as the Green Bay Packers. One small problem; their colors currently look much more like Norwich colors (their traditional colors were blue and gold). Anyway, they are a small town in northern Wisconsin. Smallest American football market. Population of the town slightly over 100,000. There are no owners of that team (it is owned publicly). Has won 4 Super Bowls and countless other championships dating back to the 1930's. It is one of the oldest professional American football clubs. It is a David amongst Goliaths...much more of a Leicester I'd say than the panthers.....and probably would have sent shirts back since no one ever considers them.
Brian123 Posted 17 March 2016 Posted 17 March 2016 Leicester home colours of royal blue and white have been used for the team's kits throughout most of its history
