Thought he was great in The Wrath Of Khan

I thought about doing a Fantasy Island joke but worried no one would know what I was on about.

he'd be decent for us if we like to play patient football, if we like to grind teams down and just wait and wait to attack. Seen him play for Milan this season and their style can be quite laboured. He's the kind of player who will just sit in the middle of your own half reading the game well and dictating play on the ball (in the Pirlo mould just not as good). He's a good player with tons of experience, but just probably won't be good for us or as effective simply because his own style of play wouldn't match up with our high-intensity and counter-attacking play.

Your love for Cambiasso showing through again?

You tell me I'm wrong! This season's midfield or last?

Montolivo is another player well past his best. And he's never really been very good particularly. Avoid.

I saw Milan get hammered at home against Napoli in October - now although that's the only game I've seen, it seemed the coach was picking the formation based on players he had to play (that night a 4-1-2-1-2), despite the fact that formation didn't suit one bit, especially against Napoli who had decent wide players to take advantage of the wide open spaces.

It would also be worth mentioning that most of the Milan players looked fed up/out of sorts, it didn't seem a very happy or cohesive camp.

Now I can see CR's logic here - if he gets a holding midfielder or two, he could then employ an attacking front 4 of Vardy, Mahrez, Kante and one other, which could be a sensible move for the future given our increased and loftier ambitions.
