Furtle Posted 3 February 2016 Posted 3 February 2016 all need to visualise the Chelsea team on a sunny 15th May, led by an emotional John Terry, lining up to form a Guard of Honour as our players stroll out to acclaim from all 4 sides of Stamford Bridge. The gleaming Premier trophy sits on the turf adorned with our blue ribbons............ that is all.
Guest Posted 3 February 2016 Posted 3 February 2016 Well there's the small matter of winning some more games too
Guest Col city fan Posted 3 February 2016 Posted 3 February 2016 Just keep doing what we are doing. Don't change our shape to accommodate Inler or whatever. Keep counter attacking, keep the midfield tight. Keep the confidence up.
STUHILL Posted 3 February 2016 Posted 3 February 2016 Just keep doing what we are doing. Don't change our shape to accommodate Inler or whatever. Keep counter attacking, keep the midfield tight. Keep the confidence up. I think will be pretty much the same team until the end of the season, barring any injuries or suspensions. 14 games!

Raw Dykes Posted 3 February 2016 Posted 3 February 2016 i would love to ruin john terry's last day at chelsea! If we're presented the trophy at Stamford Bridge, he'll change into a full Leicester kit and celebrate with the team.
Monsell1976 Posted 3 February 2016 Posted 3 February 2016 Just keep doing what we are doing. Don't change our shape to accommodate Inler or whatever. Keep counter attacking, keep the midfield tight. Keep the confidence up.Agreed col, as we are, and don't look to far ahead. But I don't think he will change for inler, but can see him playing 5 in midfield for the next two games, and bring in amarty, to protect the back 4, and freeing up drinky, and kante to counter and break up the possession. We can't be too brave away at Arsenal or man city, but away from home, man city don't look so clever when teams get in their faces. So I'd me more tempted to have a go Saturday, rather than at Arsenal. We were to open at home to Arsenal, and they destroyed us, so if I was going to change our way, it would be that game.
truebluethroughandthrough Posted 3 February 2016 Posted 3 February 2016 Just keep doing what we are doing. Don't change our shape to accommodate Inler or whatever. Keep counter attacking, keep the midfield tight. Keep the confidence up. Why mention Inler?
fuchsntf Posted 3 February 2016 Posted 3 February 2016 So far for our 1st time in the PL, all we are doing is setting ourselves up for a chance to have a crack at the title. We are basically in the 1st phase of the run in. 14 games left, the next 6 needs a positive run to just be in the end- mix. Then anything from a 4-8 game last phase, with still a high chance that last 2 games will decide it. If we are thereabouts, it wont be our experience like the others that will get us there , it will be our dogged stubborness , innocence and carefree attitude that will be to our advantage. Skill all the title chasing teams have that, but we havent yet thankfully learnt how to be scared. Take a deep breath, stay calm, one game at a time, we are still trekking the hills 1st base camp still to be reached....We might just be able to see the crests through the clouds, but the summit is still a heavy trek, with many crevasses, twists and bluffs to manouvre around. Plus King Dick wants to see more blood and notches , on his sword of revenge.
Fox92 Posted 3 February 2016 Posted 3 February 2016 i would love to ruin john terry's last day at chelsea! I don't think anybody at Chelsea would mind. Ask them who they'd prefer to win the league out of Leicester, Arsenal, Spurs and Manchester City and what's the answer going to be? There is going to be scenes and bodies everywhere when Terry 'accidently' gives the ball to Vardy to score to stop Arsenal winning the league.
UpTheLeagueFox Posted 3 February 2016 Posted 3 February 2016 We just need to keep playing the way we play. Simple as that.
EGBFitness Posted 3 February 2016 Posted 3 February 2016 Why mention Inler? Because Nugent, Kram, RDL and Benny have gone. Who else can get moaned about?
yorkie1999 Posted 3 February 2016 Posted 3 February 2016 Need to win the next 13 games, or 1170 minutes of football.
Guest Col city fan Posted 3 February 2016 Posted 3 February 2016 Why mention Inler? Because Inler has played and been mentioned many times if we are going to play away from home with a three man midfield. Why did you think? Forget Inler. I'm not sure I'd even change to accommodate Amartey. Though I think Ranieri will probably do this against City on Saturday.

I'd expect Amartey to come in around the 60 minute mark if a change looks warranted
MPH Posted 3 February 2016 Posted 3 February 2016 i would love to ruin john terry's last day at chelsea! Oh i think Vardy can do that all by himself...
GaelicFox Posted 3 February 2016 Posted 3 February 2016 If carling made title winning sequences (obviously they don't for LFC) Secure it at man united winning 3-0 Trophy presented at home to Everton win 3-0. Guard of honour from Chelsea win 3-0 I bet 2-0 and 3-0 ever home and away game hence the obsession

Sorry, I thought you were singling him out my mistake. Anyway I think we may have to change sooner or later as the decent teams sit back. Hopefully Amartey will slot in smoothly but every time I start to think who he will replace, my brain explodes. Can't drop Shinji at the mo, finally showing just how important he can be. I even thought maybe Albrighton, and have Mahrez drifting from flank to flank. Then I thought, sod this I ain't paid for this nor am I capable!! This season is beyond all my expectations (except Inler of course:-P) I will be happy if Ranieri doesn't change it up, but I think he may not be able to resist a little tinker!
WesMorganGod Posted 3 February 2016 Posted 3 February 2016 Chelsea will be very very happy to see us as champions on last day of the season, why??.. because thet HATE Spurs and Arsenal, and I read a lot of cheseal fans tweets and they are desperate for Arsenal and Spurs to not win the prem.
Thracian Posted 4 February 2016 Posted 4 February 2016 Just keep doing what we are doing. Don't change our shape to accommodate Inler or whatever. Keep counter attacking, keep the midfield tight. Keep the confidence up. Amarthey is perhaps a more likely first choice to get "accommodated". He seems like a real asset in the making from what I've seen and read.
