Ovechkin with his 895th goal, breaking Wayne Gretzky's record for most goals all-time in the NHL.

Feel sort of lucky to have seen two of those. Worked it out it would have been 16 years ago.

The Sens clinching for the first time since 2017 is the medicine this season.

Would be Leafs vs Sens in the first round, as it stands right now.

We already won 5 in a row against them, but can't beat the Habs or Sabres.

Just getting through round 1 would be great this season, against Toronto or anyone.

I still can't help but feel we'll mess up the comeback, but game 7 is going to be electric if we win at the CTC this week.

Ullmark has really come back in a big way the last two games and Stolarz is shaky now. I can see him being benched for game 6.

Think my habs are done tonight but not unexpected as Washington is a great team. We did well to make the playoffs this year.  Hope we can upset but it will be tough!

If the Oilers had this Skinner and Pickard last season...

Need that level of tending if you're gonna win.

Thought the Leafs had it with Stolarz, but Florida managed to fix that and now it's on Woll.

I'd love an Oilers/Leafs final, but I know it'll be something like Carolina/Dallas, which I'd be hard pressed to even watch.

We all know how the game 7 goes lol

As a habs fan I'm getting my "na na na na" voice ready for my best friend. Having said that, i feel like this year might be your year.

Goodluck!

Ps! You know it's coming if you lose right? Lol

I cant imagine.  I mean, my habs are either shit or give it a good go. You guys are consistently  ok and part shit all at the same time lol.

Thank **** I've seen my team win the cup. It's beyond 30 years now since we last won and that's painful enough lol.

I'm not a real Leafs fan.

When I was alittle kid we only had CBC and hockey night in Canada, so the Leafs were the team I knew(Darryl Sittler, Lanny McDonald era).

In grade 4 we had a floor hockey league and I was so upset when I wasn't put on mu best friends team. The teams were named after NHL teams and he was on the Leafs, whereas I was on the Islanders.

I had no clue about the Islanders, but my dad said they were a newer team and he got me an Islanders jersey.

It was Mike Bossy's rookie year and I got his number "22" on my jersey.

A couple years later the Isles won the Cup. I still remember Bob Nystrom's goal in OT to win it against the Flyers.

We won 4 Stanley Cups in a row!

After that era was coming to a close, my favourite player was Pat LaFontaine and he got traded to Buffalo for a player that I did not like.

Since I was already supporting the Bills I switched alliance to the Sabres.

Sure, I got sucked back in with the Gilmour/Clark era, but I eventually lost a lot of interest in the NHL.

At least I experienced that joy, especially as a little kid, of actually winning.

I wasn't at all bothered tonight when the Leafs did what they always do, lose.

As a Blackhawks fan, (I mean this in the nicest way possible) Your teams stink! & we stink, but for a reason!

Buffalo should have been competitive by now, and they decided to show up this season, when they had  guaranteed no playoffs, so they just hurt their own draft position, doh. The Islanders are the most negative hockey team, and I like defensive hockey!

I think The Sabres need a new GM (palm trees), and probably a new coach, although I do like Ruff. There is something to build around but the Sables are so inconsistent. Thompson should be a beast, he can look like Mario one night then a bum the next. You need to make a trade on defence, and IMO Power is the guy who you should trade for a scoring forward but I believe he has a NMC.  Good luck however, it must be tough.

Buffalo should move to Hamilton which is the canadian hometown for about 29 years of my life). The amount of fans, community involvement and investment would be huge.

That won't ever happen though and Buffalo/Toronto would try to block it because they are w@nkers.

Chicago a nice place. Was back and forth there for 5.5 years as my ex was from the north suburbs. Never got to see a Blackhawks game though. Was too busy doing other things lol
