Very much an Ice Hockey newb as have only really watched the Milton Keynes Lightening when visiting in-laws.

But work wise our other office is out in Edmonton and with some of the voice notes left in our group chat can I assume that Connor McDavid finally turned up in the latest game? 😂

He has 38 points in the playoffs. He has more assists than any other player has points.

Problem with the Oilers is they have one line that can score and not much else.

Happy they got the win, but I think Florida will wrap it up at home.

Well played game by both teams.

Congrats Panthers.

Edmonton deserved that bad boy cup but just couldn't do it in the end. Congrats to Florida.

And the dry spell in Canada continues...

Awful, awful news about Johnny Gaudreau and his brother. Visiting his hometown for the weekend, with his sister getting married today.

The driver of the Jeep needs to go straight to the Absolute C***s Of Our Time thread.

According to police, a driver of a Jeep Grand Cherokee hit the Gaudreaus from behind while trying to pass an SUV on the right that had moved over to make way for the two on their bicycles. Police said both Gaudreaus suffered fatal injuries.

The driver is suspected of being under the influence of alcohol and has been charged with two counts of death by auto, police said. They said the investigation is ongoing.

Just shocking and horrible news 😞 Johnny Hockey is an American legend. I don’t even know what else to say.

Trying to get more into following the Sens this season, and tonight it's definitely been worth it.

Four Nations gets underway tonight with us(Canada) playing Sweden.

Normally we'd be favourites in these sorts of things, but goaltending is a definite weakness this time around.

If I had to bet, I'd go with the US.

Also, it's weird not having Russia and the Czechs in this.
