Kippaxkidmcfc Posted 14 February 2016 Posted 14 February 2016 Alright folks.. Ive only joined to wish you the dam best of luck in your attempt to win the league. As a old school manchester city fan, that has seen the very worst of us, to what we see today, For your team to come and do what you are doing is, well to coin a over used phrase, but if you do win the league, it would absolutely be EPIC!. We had 73 percent possession in the first half last week, and we'd be battered. Vardy and mahrez are flying, and joy to watch. I never thought, id see us win owt, even with the money, id and all us 40 odd year old and older city (man) just had, had so much misery, and living in the shadow of them lot over in salford, it just seemed like a far away dream. But we did it in a quite typical man city fashion, y'know sergio 93:20 and all that.. But if you guy do it, you will have earned it big time..i truly believe its the hardest league to win, and you have not flinched one bit and have been a breath of fresh air. Obviously i would like us to win the league, but if not i can honestly say, i would be absolutely chuffed for the fans of leicester city..Your one up against the arse right now, so theres no doubt you are worthy. So good luck lads, you are riding a pretty sweet wave and i hope it continues for you. All the best.
NeilLCFC Posted 14 February 2016 Posted 14 February 2016 I can't take this anymore Edit: oops was meant to go in the match threat Thanks for the wishes
Al-aLondon-Foxile Posted 14 February 2016 Posted 14 February 2016 I always appreciate these comments from other footy fans, delivered in true spirit. Cheers pal.
bovril Posted 14 February 2016 Posted 14 February 2016 I like City fans, even though I dislike their current team. I've never met arrogant and patronising Man City fans, they're always proper supporters.
Lestoh Posted 14 February 2016 Posted 14 February 2016 A City fan told me just before we got promoted he hoped we came up just to go straight back down. Haven't liked you since.
Kippaxkidmcfc Posted 14 February 2016 Author Posted 14 February 2016 Hey no worries lads, id never give praise out usually, were footie fans and your team is the colours that you bleed and are born too one way or another. And credit where its due, you have been cracking. Another thing is, vardy, signing a new deal, thats top banana for the foxes. friggin hard done to today though. Theres certain clubs i really don't like like salford u*d over the road obviously, and arsenal are right up there, they were part of the elete, and status quo that didn't like us breaking up their annual top 4 same old same old.. ref was got to by the crowd today, really harsh sending off. and that late goal.. well ive broke things for less, usually everton late goals against us..grrrr. but all the best like i said, i do mean it for you guys.. one of those teams i don't like is spuds and we kickoff very soon..quite nervy to be honest.. stupid ricky villa, why didn't somebody just crop him down.. not like i hold a grudge.. take it easy guys.
ThaiFox Posted 14 February 2016 Posted 14 February 2016 I like City fans, even though I dislike their current team. I've never met arrogant and patronising Man City fans, they're always proper supporters. Actually hope Man City beat Tottingham today. If we don't win it, I'd like Man City too. PLEASE, please, don't let it be Arsenal or Tottingham. And unlike Man Ure fans, Man City fans actually come from Manchester!

And unlike Man Ure fans, Man City fans actually come from Manchester! It's all anecdotal evidence of course, but fans I've met from Manchester seem genuinely chuffed for us. Ones I've met from North London have been much more bitter and snide about the whole thing. Maybe it's a second city thing. Like I said, anecdotal evidence...
martyn Posted 14 February 2016 Posted 14 February 2016 I advise you not to read the premier league matchday thread on blue moon if you think City fans like us. Have massively rattled some cages for daring to beat them it seems
Raj Posted 14 February 2016 Posted 14 February 2016 I remember at Filbo St we played ManC nd we were going through turbulent times regarding ownership..we were singing sack the board and the Manc boys joined in for ages. It was good at the time.....

Have massively rattled some cages for daring to beat them it seems blue moon innit mate..quite a few nobs lurking on there.. our forum, mancityforum dotcom is a clique and the anti blue moon..we know were tossers and admit, but like i said its a clique and we all know each other from the matches meet ups. the big forums are all political and take themselves way too serious..
GaelicFox Posted 14 February 2016 Posted 14 February 2016 Man city are genuinely the same size of club as Leicester No bigger or better ... Very very similar Only difference is the Arabs have spent crazy money With oil prices likely to stay low for a few years I suspect the Abu Dhabi crowd will need to rethink the investment strategy Pep is a stupid signing ! Bound to end in failure (failure being not winning champions league) I'd be embarrassed if I was a Man city fan , the place has lost its soul Was always a fun and well supported club when they were shit , but now it's changed I miss Maine Road but more importantly Man City miss that crowd ! Money can't buy you love
Buce Posted 14 February 2016 Posted 14 February 2016 I've met a few City fans over the years, and they were all sound. Proper supporters.
Soar Fox Posted 14 February 2016 Posted 14 February 2016 Always liked Man City fans as they have been in similar positions to ourselves over the last 20 years. Also whenever they come down here you'll always have a few hundred drink in Aylestone pre-match. Never have any trouble and always have a good conversation with them. If we don't win it Man City are only the other team who id want to.
Soar Fox Posted 14 February 2016 Posted 14 February 2016 hope yous get relegated Surely they won't get relegated with the best player in the world playing for them... Sterling
ScouseFox Posted 14 February 2016 Posted 14 February 2016 he aint the best yet obviously, he will be though don't worry. hope he helps get the promoted again after they go down tbf
